CASTLE: RICHARD CASTLE'S STORM SEASON

I am a huge fan of the "Castle" tv show. I love Nathan Fillion. So I was excited when they decided to create the books.Derrick Storm is a private eye. He is not too smart but pretty lucky. He is a bit of a wise ass, just like Richard Castle was.I never was a big fan of comic books, that is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.The plot is good, the dialog is cheesy (which is usually the case in comics), and the characters are great.It is only about an hour to get through, so I recommend it to everyone who just wants a quick fun read.

I have always liked to read action type series of books and novels beginning with the first book and moving on from there in the order they were written if possible. This is the second graphic novel (Storm Season: A Derrick Storm mystery by Richard Castle with illustrations by Brian Michael Bendis, Kelly Sue Deconnick and Emanuela Lupacchino) I have read in this series. I actually liked this one better than the first one with Derrick Storm.In this tale, Storm is hired to get back some money a con man stole from a wealthy woman. He is again assisted by a CIA agent named Clara Strike who the world thinks is dead. This winds up into an international conspiracy with plenty of action in this graphic novel presentation. The illustrations are very clear and professional looking and the story and plot are interesting, but it seems to me that Clara Strike is a much stronger and more interesting character than Derrick Storm. In fact, she seems stronger, faster, smarter, and more skilled in fighting and shooting than Storm. I get the impression that this should probably be called the Clara Strike, CIA undercover agent series.If you are a fan of the Derrick Storm character you should check out this second graphic novel in the series.Rating: 5 Stars. This book is pretty great. Colors, graphics and story all what a fan would want. This seller takes extreme care that your book will arrive in perfect condition. You could not get a better copy if you yourself picked it out in person.

I did not expect to receive a "Comic Book". I expected to receive a regular novel, but I was wrong to have had that expectation at the price quoted. My bad.

This is my 4th Castle book and they never disappoint. They are thin enough that I can read it in an evening - works really great as a "superhero" palette cleanser.

Gift for my son. He was overjoyed because he loves the Castle books and had not been able to find these graphic novels.

Maybe its because I'm not that big a fan of graphic novels. it kept me entertained and it's from the tv show i absolutely adore, but it's not my regular read.I would buy another one though, being that it was inspired and "written" by Castle"

It's true, all of these books "written" by the fictional character of Castle, are pretty much what you would expect from the television show's rendition of him. That said, if you LIKE the show, you'll probably like this and all of Castle's books.

Lo dico onestamente: i signori della ABC hanno capito di avere tra le mani la gallina dalle uova d'oro e cercano di fargliene fare il più possibile. Troppo. E alla fine il prodotto non è all'altezza.Discorso valido per questo prodotto così come per gli ultimi libri editi.Meglio tornare a guardare Castle in TV, e stop.
