The book was described as used in very good condition and possible clean ex-library copy. It is in good condition but is definitely a ex-library copy. A more accurate/honest description should have been given!I enjoyed the book and learned a lot. The selection of fonts could have been better. One font was thin light gray on a white page and another was small dark red on a black background. Both were difficult to see.

Written in simple language for anyone to read. Bought as a gift.

I had purchased this book for my 7 year old son without realizing that there is a chapter I don't consider appropriate for his age.The chapter is called "Can science help me find true love?", and it includes subjects such as "who has the best sex", arousal, Viagra and erections, "are women aroused by porn", penis size etc. I would have given it a 5 star because it is a greatly educational book, for adults. From the cover I would have never imagined that sex would have been a topic of discussion and would have not purchased it as a gift for a small child.

I read this to my 3 month old so she can watch me talk. She goes crazy for this book and makes her little coos the whole time.

If you the cosmos and it's vastness, want to explore space more and have a kind of interest or aren't sure about it at all you should definitely buy this book, just amazing, Neil DeGrasse Tyson is an absolute role model and a legend among legends. You should definitely watch star talks podcasts too.

I can't say enough good things about this book. I enjoyed it immensely. Mr. Tyson has a uniquely facile way of making hard subjects easy to understand. Read this... we all should.
