Excellent trap
This is a durable, simple, effective, and easy to use trap. I am overrun with chipmunks and these traps are thinning my herd quickly. I also have many coons which love to get into and tear the traps apart for the bait. If the coons pull the traps apart to get the bait out, the traps are easily reassembled without damage.The plastic design makes them weather resistant and very easy to clean. I think they are winners!

doesn’t work.
I followed instructions. In two weeks have not killed one chipmunk. They just go around the trap.

Reduced effectiveness over time.
We used this for destructive chipmunks. Worked well at the beginning but seems to lose effectiveness. The last two catches have not resulted in a quick humane kill which is certainly not desired. I have thrown this item away and will be searching for more humane methods of eradication.
