Simple Joys by Carter'sBabies, Toddlers, and Boys' Knit Shorts, Pack of 3

These look comfy and all, but I specifically ordered them because I needed a pair or red shorts for my son to go with an outfit for a party, the pack I received had two grey and one blue. Not worth returning as I would not get the correct color in timeUPDATE: After washing these, they arent even the same size!! Sure... The tags all say 3-6 months but if you look at the pic there are two that have obviously shrunk even though I washed them according to the tag. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT.

This would truly be a great set of shorts. But the softest side is on the outside and it is rough on the inside. Which probably the most average kid wouldn't mind. However my kid has super sensitive skin and doesn't like harshness so they were not a good fit for us. It's a great company, usually very great products but if your kid has sensitive skin I would not purchase these. it is again nothing against this company, because I usually find great things that my kiddos can use. I just want to leave some useful information for someone's child who may have the same issue as mine.

I love this little shorts set. So often, I find that other brands that don't make the 24 month size (only 2T) are quite large on my slightly smaller than average 24 month old son (who is 26 lbs. and has shorter legs). The Carter's 24 month size fits his waist and leg length perfectly so he is not constantly walking around with shorts falling down. These wash very well, don't shrink and are made of a super soft cotton. Note that the drawstring is just ornamental, it doesn't actually function. However, you shouldn't need it if your child is a true 24 month size. This is a great value, so I'd highly recommend these.

I like these drawstring shorts for my toddler. They're very soft and comfortable, and the drawstring is easy to tighten or loosen as needed. The material is breathable, too; it's a nice weight, not too heavy or flimsy. I bought a bunch of pairs for him to wear during the hot summer months. I knocked off a star because, like all Carter's clothing, they run on the smaller side and will likely shrink more in the wash. In most cases, I size a full size up with Carter's clothing, which is great otherwiseEdit 6/2021 - Unfortunately, I knocked another star off of these because there is now a huge rip in the seam along the left side of the shorts leg. I can sew it back together, but that's disappointing, since I only bought these a month ago and they didn't get that much hard use yet.

These run so big. I got 24 month for my 2yr old because people said they ran small so I thought that would be perfect because my son is on the skinny side. I was so wrong. They are %100 cotton so I’m sure they will shrink some but not enough to fit my son. I ended up getting the 18month. The drawstring is nice because it’s functional. Good shorts, just run big but this has always been my experience with Carter’s clothing I just always forget.

I've purchased this style of shorts for my son from Carter's before and loved them. These ones arrived and I washed them right away (before letting my son wear them) and one of the pairs came out of the dryer with a large hole in the seem on the side. I'm not sure if it was there before I washed them and I just didn't notice it, or if it happened in the wash, but either way I was disappointed. My son hadn't even gotten to wear them once! I purchased a size 9-12 months and they fit as expected. They are soft and a nice, thick, stretchy material, but they should be more durable/of better quality for a baby to crawl around/maneuver in.

There is not enough elastic in the waist of these shorts. I put them on my grandson and they wouldn’t stay up. There is a tie waist to tighten them, but that doesn’t work well on a 2 year old body. They were still falling down and uncomfortable for him.

I order a lot of clothes from Simply Joys from Carter online. No issues with size or quality of products. Only problem is I always have to prewash clothes because they come with a weird smell. Not sure if it’s production smell from factory or plastic wrapper but it’s strong. Of course being concerned with shrinkage I never dry and concerned of color fading, it’s nuisance to prewash before wearing. Just thought you should know

Very few baby shorts available that are 100%, so I was happy to find that these were. Nice choice of colours. More expensive than other shorts available but you get what you pay for, and these being 100% cotton are better quality.

These shorts were for my four year old grandson and are excellent quality and a very good fit. He liked them very much and wore a pair straightaway.

Complete RIP off listing clearly states 3 pairs but you only get 2 pairs in the pack
