Can't beat the price, and both wired and wireless mode work fine. I did notice that in "inventory" mode, when I dumped the memory to the computer ONE of the scans did not have a carriage return at the end, so it got concatenated with the next barcode:BARCODE1BARCODE2However, this only happened on one line, and I had scanned the same barcode several times and it worked fine the other times, so this may have been a one-off glitch since I was using the wireless dongle at the time.The scanner does not seem to be able to read barcodes displayed on my computer monitor, though it can read the same barcodes printed out on paper just fine. I have a different scanner which IS able to read images from the monitor, but considering that it cost almost literally a hundred times as much, this is a very minor issue.Also, while this is probably obvious to anyone considering purchasing the item, it is limited to reading linear barcodes; it cannot read 2D codes and I do not believe it can read codes like USPS PLANET where information is encoded in the height, rather than the thickness, of the bars.I just got the unit so I can't evaluate battery life or tech support yet.

Works right out of the box. Was able to plug the USB adapter in and go. Scanned directly into Excel. The manual says you need to switch it to wireless mode, but it worked right away. There's a bar code for that! In fact, there's bar codes for everything, so don't lose the manual. My wife was complaining about the beeps being too loud and there's bar codes to change the volume. In addition to the manual, there's a plastic card with a handful of most useful codes. I also tried the inventory mode (use the bar code), which worked. I scanned several books and then scanned the transfer data code and it popped them right into Excel, moving down a cell each time. I'm planning on using this to scan books for selling and maybe for cataloging my books. Maybe try it for Amazon selling.

I go to this one for I just run out the last one, this is a nice, swift and lightweight product. It works very well, no smells, used very good materials. it is very easy to use, instruction is clear and straightforward. the signal units made with good quality, even two parts are saperated far from each other, which still work very well. Recommend! for sure

I absolutely love this product. I use it for my business inventory and it is easy to use. I love that it comes with detailed instructions and barcodes.

I could not use it with my computer. It scanned items just fine but there was no way to link the product to my computer.

device not capable of postamble tab. I liked the remote capability and the ability to scan barcodes offline and store them.for later use.

Exactly as described works better than than exspected and fast shipping

Super easy to set up. Should have bought this long time ago.
