Great flow, great music, sad for her state of mind in general
Azealia is an extremely talented rapper who has not the seemingly requisite nasty mouth for a female rap artist. Sad to know the troubles that surround her talent... Sad because her music and her flow are excellent.

So Addictive
Azealia Banks has to be one of the greatest rappers up to date. I am so in love with her music! Azealia Banks is completely innovative when it comes to music. Her sound for her music has a real 90's Hip Hop feel, which is my opinion was the greatest time for Hip-Hop, but it also sounds really new. I think Azealia is completely innovative when it comes to sound, she talks a lot of how she explores different types of music to try to create a new sound, and thats exactly what her music does, its new. Each song of the Album has its own creative sound to it, it doesnt sound like you are hearing the same track each time with different lyrics like with most Rappers. Her rapping is also great, though not everyone seems to like it. I personally think her rapping is great, because it sounds really different. Lil Kim and Queen Latifah had this Hard Core Flow of rapping which sounded great, and Missy Elliott and Nicki Minaj have this comedic way of rapping, but Azeala's rapping is completely new. Even though you dont really understand what shes saying half the time, it sounds so creative, and its never overdone. I really have never heard another rapper sound like this, and this is why I love Azealia so much. Each track sounds different in its own way:1991: It has a real 90's feel to it (Its intended to sound that way guessing by the music), but it also sounds really new. It's the perfect balance of new and old. I love that Azealia is not afraid to show where her roots are.Van Vogue: My favorite song from this EP. I cant really describe how this track sounds, and that's probably why I like it so much. The track feels like its so ahead of its time. Its indescribable.212: I like this song, but its definitely not my favorite, its not even Azealia's favorite for that matter. Its a good sounding track, and I love it, but its not her best. I also hate that this is the only track people know Azealia by. Sure its a great song, and its catchy, but Azealia has so much more to offer than 212.Liquorice: Sounds a lot like a pop song, and its great. Its catchy, and it doesn't sound like every other Pop Song you would hear on the Radio. I cant help but dance anytime I hear this song. I think the coolest thing about this EP, its that even though it has 4 songs, none of them get old to me. No other artist has really gave that effect to me. Even though i've heard each track probably like 60 times, it still feels new sometimes when I hear that, and maybe that's because of her style of rapping. Because she rap's so fast, and in such a different way, you sometime's hear different lyrics each time. I think Azealia is not only a good rapper but when it comes to music producing, shes the next best thing for Hip-Hop since Missy Elliott. I cant wait for her debut album!

LOVE this EP.
I know that there has been some negative press about her recently but I absolutely adore Azealia Banks' music. I don't know what my ears were doing before they first heard '212' but it obviously wasn't anything important. She sounds like old school lil' kim with a dance club vibe that I LOVE. I fell like I need to put on some pumps and dance the house down. And she can sing a little bit which is great. I'm not going to make any grand statements about the state of rap or female rappers and just say that I enjoy her music and there's always a song or two of hers on all of my playlists. If you're looking to get into her this is a good start before her album comes out. Also 'Luxury' which isn't on this EP is a great song to get into.

Amazing - but will we ever get a full album?
At times, it seems as though Azealia Banks doesn't quite know in which direction to take her image or her music. However, her movement between genres has created some of the best cuts of the past few years. The notable standout is "212," which rightfully gained critical adoration and helped introduce Azealia to a wider audience. A mix of banging techno beats, an aggressive hook and some fantastically filthy lyrics, it absolutely kills. Also worth noting is the slick "1991," which combines 90's house/dance with a cocky Millennial attitude. Whether we get a full album from her is anybody's guess, but this EP is definitely worth buying.

Good for working out
Azealia is an interesting artist, very explicit. I'm not really sure what her songs are about besides the usual sex, partying, and being cool. I would like to think that she is fresh and unique but I don't think she's that much different (lyrical wise) from other pop stars. However, I do really appreciate her honesty and "youthful optimism" she gives off in her interviews. I really like the beats though, I think her music is great for working out but honestly I wouldn't sit around and chill listening to her. However, she is growing on me, and I hope she can put out some cool stuff in the future.

Amazing
How did I not hear of Azealia Banks sooner? She's like the new Lil Kim- but better. Love her no-holds-barred style. She doesn't hold anything back, which is why her lyrics are probably not appropriate for innocent ears. Her lyrics are driven by powerhouse, amazing hooks that speak to the new trend in melding hip-hop/rap and electronica/dance, and will always make you wanna move. Highly recommended.

I knew this EP for a while, digitally only. But I wanted to get it as a vinyl, because to me, when I love a thune I get it physically.I was not disappointed ! Received yesterday, played already 5 times lol. 1991 is so housy, straight from the 90's Chicago / NY clubs. Thanks Azealia for putting your art in this world, we're lucky !

Oh miss Banks!
I have to admit, you either love her or hate her, but no one can deny she makes excellent music which is out there and in your face. I love this EP of hers and it oozes a certain sex appeal that the French call, a certain Je nais ce quoi pas.I have heard a rumour that this lady is to give up singing and concentrate on other aspects of her life....No! please no.One very sexy woman who has produced an EP that exemplifies her own persona........Oh! Miss Banks if only I was 30 years younger
