Bright white light! Awesome!
I bought this for a small 1 gallon aquarium (the Aquarius1) that I have that I am setting up for Red Cherry Shrimp. The lighting is a candelabra socket and the bulb it came with was very yellow and dim. Later I bought an LED bulb but was again disappointed that it was so yellow and so dim! I had to put aluminum foil on the back plastic housing to reflect the light back down which helped a little. Then I found this bulb! It is a very white color light which I love, and boy is it bright! I lightens up my 1 gallon with no problems. In fact, I would not hesitate to use this bulb in bigger aquariums, it is that bright. But since it is LED, there is very little heat which is good for my 1 gallon tank. On my particular application, the tank lid does have a clear plastic panel that separates the bulb from the water completely, so I don't have to worry about humidity damaging he bulb…hopefully. Not sure of the longterm durability or whether it will lose its brightness, but for my application, even if it does slowly lose its brightness, for a 1 gallon tank, I'm fine. Updates to follow if it breaks prematurely!

Toplimit E12 6 Watt 350 Lumens LED Bulb Very Bright
The Toplimit E12 puts out a lot of light for the size. I combined this with the Grimaidi Lighting (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JI8JMXG) E17 to E12 Adapter, and secured two of these in my microwave hood that sits over my stove. The bulbs fit very well and put out more light than the standard incandescent bulb being replaced. I bought a 2nd one after trying one side that burned out and soon will have both on. This light is very "white" and so you need to be prepared to get a white spectrum glow rather than the yellow glow from the incandescent it replaces.Update: One of these bulbs started to flicker and last night (only after 2 months), I took the flickering bub out to find it was burned and basically trash. I do not recommend these bulbs. They are a waste of $$ and could be a fire hazard. I can see burned marks on the LEDs inside the bulb. Danger!!

Two bulbs... Both dead in a year.
I bought two. The first was a replacement in my refrigerator. It gives a bright modern look. I had to use a candelabra tp medium adapter to make it fit and the size was a little large, but it worked. For awhile. Half the LEDs stopped working after 7-9 months. The second was a traditional use lighting the interior of a glass hutch. 90% of the LEDs were dead within a year.Rating changed from 'awesome' to 'completely avoid.'

Flicker trouble
Bought three of these. Put them on a circuit with a dimmer switch; two of them started to flicker. Fair enough, I replaced the dimmer with a regular on-off switch and tried again. One of them still has a bad flicker. Too cheap to be really good, I guess.

Not what you would expect
I replace 3 standard 25 watt incandescent bulbs with these. I like the 5000-6000k color range. However, these are more equal to a 15 watt bulb not a 45 watt bulb about 150 lumens in reality. they are dimmer than the 25 watt bulbs I replaced. I was expecting them to be brighter. They are about 1/2 as bright as the 25 watt bulls they replaced. I do not recommend.

Three Stars
lower light output than I expected

Don't love the shape
A little weak for the rating. Don't love the shape. Very efficient, but not on par with the efficiency of modern LED which consume 10% the watts of the equivalent incandescent.

Whatta find
Couldnt be happier -- i needed 5 bulbs for a lamp my wife bought -- without consulting me ahead of time -- so i could be sure that there were led bulbs to fit. we use the lamp a lot so wattage is important. the resulting light is perfect for the tv room and i cant believe the bulbs run so so cool. great buy thanks
