External reviews for this type of kayak were excellent, and the used kayak market seems to be extremely competitive amidst the pandemic, when everyone wants to be outdoors. These were a great purchase. They track well, and are designed with storage and comfort in mind. We've spent hours at a time without getting out of these kayaks. The paddle it comes with is a bit short - I am 5' and my husband is 5'8"; the paddle is good for me, and okay for him. Taller people will want to consider another paddle. Transportation is a challenge. They are thick, heavy (50 pounds?), and wide, so getting them onto a rooftop rack (we used Thule Hull-A-Port XT) is very difficult, and I can't carry it very far on my own. With 2 kayaks and 2 people though, it's vey easy to pick up and walk two of them at a time. Single users with a rooftop rack will want to look into hand trailers and roof rack load assists. They ride very shallow and I have been able to push through muddy areas with little effort. I like to occasionally stand to see down into the water better. With these, I am able to stand and paddle a little while standing, but they are not the most stable I've seen in this position. Anyone taller may have trouble. I am very happy with this purchase, especially at the price we paid.

We absolutely love these kayaks! We took them out on a cold fall day, but stayed pretty dry and they handled the waves from the LI Sound pretty well. They’re pretty lightweight compared to our friends kayak, so we didn’t have too much trouble getting to or on the water like he did. We saw reviews saying the seat wasn’t comfortable but we found them just fine. We like that they’re adjustable. We agree with the oar reviews, stating they’re a bit short and need grips, but they’re just fine honestly, for a leisurely fishing kayak ride. I wore latex gloves over my winter gloves (it was cold) and they gripped the oar better actually. It was nice to be able to go right out on them the day after the arrived. The fishing rod holder worked great, the storage holes kept my things dry inside, and stretchy bands held my backpack and anchor in place as we rode the waves. Shipping was a bit of a tough time (quite a bit late and few rescheduled deliveries) but they came undamaged and in good packaging. Overall, we recommend. We also got better at strapping them to the car. It’s way easier with the ratchet straps than rope..

Seats are not the best, but I've used the crap out of it and it's holding up good

Love these kayaks. My 10 and 7 year olds had fun kayaking around all by themselves. Great for kids and adults. Very sturdy. I got two for $709.25 and I saw one at bi-mart (same exact one) for $275 for one. The one at bi-mart did not come with an ore. But my brother bought that one and bought a $30 ore that looked almost identical. So 🤷‍♂️ just food for thought.

The order was suppose to be 2 kayaks. Only received 1. I will update my review when I receive the other Kayak. Okay, I am updating my review. I gave it 1 star and this was because the order was suppose to have 2 kayaks together. It was a 2 kayak deal from Amazon. For some unknown reason my order came with only 1 Kayak. After having customer service helping me they could not find my other Kayak. The Kayak that did come is Awesome!!! Can't wait to try it out but we had to order another Kayak from a different store so that my husband and I can enjoy together. Which is another 2 week wait. I have ordered from Amazon for along time. I have to say this is the first time that I have been disappointed in what they advertised. I will Thank customer service for the time that they put in trying to find my other Kayak, but they couldn't send me another kayak , said they were not in stock.

Love the Kayaks, we had a blast today on the lake, other than an argument with my wife over forgetting one of the oars at home. After getting home and not finding it, we reviewed the security footage from time of delivery, to taking out of plastic. Come to find out, an oar was not provided with the second kayak in that set. Curious who to contact for a replacement oar..

We love these kayaks! Great for beginners too. We paddle in the Puget Sound and they are perfect. The only thing is poor packaging. They were shipped with thin bubble wrap that was all but destroyed when we got them. There is minor cosmetic damage to both kayaks, no leaks though.

We just received the kayak's today, pretty easy to finish assembly, however, one of the kayak's was damaged. It had minor scratches on the front, which doesn't concern me, and the front handle had been ripped off. I don't know how to contact the seller and all I want is a new, replacement handle for the front.
