Hand-y Tees World’s Best Dad T-Shirt, X-Large, White

Love this tshirt idea! We do a ton of home DIY projects so it never fails that most of my husbands tshirts end up paint splattered. I think of all his shirts with PAINT on them THIS will be our favorite!!!!!I wish for my own peace of mind it came with a smidge bigger paint tubes. I am not sure what type of paint it is, non-toxic was the only description I read for it - just so I could have gotten my own extra colors or spare paint in case we had wanted to, they would have been able to wash and hold up consistently.My personal suggestions after doing lots of kid handprint art :)...I put the hands actually fingers down to be cuter :) - I didn't use a paper plate to plop the paint out as suggested - I didn't want waste - I wanted just enough paint for the hand - because I want to get 4 kids on there. I considered mixing colors (they even offer suggestions on colors to mix to get a different color in case you forgot or for kids to do independently) but ultimately came up with a different design - they suggest using baby's feet instead of hands so I did my 3 big kids (hands down) between the letters - and then babies feet, in red, side by side under the "hands down" phrase - with the heels of her feet overlapping and the toes flaring out to the sides - it looks like a HEART.It says to put inside out and iron for 2 minutes then wash so we will do that when all done and dry.To apply the paint to hands (no paper plate as I said) I just snipped the tinest opening on the paint tubes, lined each finger and then some to the palm, then I used my finger to fill it all in smoothly - it gave us just enough needed to press a clean handprint without globbing out to much over the edge. Worked like a charm. Between kids - letting it dry - we just left the barely open tubes out on the table - throughout the day they didn't dry closed so we had no problem using them later for the next person.I see they also make one of these for grandpa's to.Great idea!As it gets worn out or if damaged I plan to either just make it into a tshirt pillow or frame the center for a keepsake.

We didn't use the paint that came with it because the instructions were too time consuming. What I mean is, you have to let it sit for days, then you have to iron it to set it. I'm sure it works great though, but we only have 2 days until Christmas and daddy walks around the house enough where we can't leave it out to sit and dry.So we used puffy paint instead and it dried in 2 hours.The quality of the shirt is GREAT. Nice and thick, and soft. Not see through like cheap shirts. The print on it is also bold and bright. It comes with three colors of fabric paint. Red, yellow and blue.We can't wait to see the look on his face when he opens his present.

My 2yo did this for her daddy's birthday present! OMG! She loved doing it and giving it to him and he was so very touched!!! Got to love those beautiful moments. Of course, I helped her. There are good directions and it helped that we practiced wth dry hands first. We mixed the colors in strips so we did it a bit different than the pic, but it looked great!!! I think we may make this an annual gift;) Just be warned that since some of the areas were thicker than others (we are working with a toddler), it took a bit of time to dry. It probably took about 3 days since some of it was so thick, but that's no reflection on the product, but just thought someone may want to know it takes time to fully cure dry:)

Our World’s best dad loved his shirt and the kids very much enjoyed getting to be a part of making it. The paint doesn’t hold up too well over time so now it’s a shirt that doesn’t get used as often. Still a really sweet concept though.

Cute gift! The directions were clearly explained. There were three colors of included paint that would each easily make two hand prints. So you can have your child use their favorite color to make two hand prints, or I had each of my three sons make a hand print in a different color. My husband was thrilled when he opened the shirt to see his three sons' hand prints on the Best Dad shirt. It has held up well through several times of normal washing and drying. This plain white shirt would be better if it was thicker cotton, but it made a perfect gift for dad.

This was a great father's day gift for my husband! My son and him took a good hour in the morning to work on the shirt together and have this as a great memory of 2014's Father's Day. I would recomment this to any parent for any special occasion - great gift idea as well as craft time. Paint worked great, dried on very well and I followed the instructions to iron it on a couple of days later so it does not wash off. Yet to wash the shirt but so far looks and fits great!

Great shirt, though the amount of paint included is the bare minimum for two sets of hands if your kids are older. If your kids are middle school ages you may want to consider augmenting the included paint with some fabric paint from the craft store. The shirt and the paint hold up REALLY well if you follow the instructions about how to apply and cure the paint.

I had ordered this shirt as a Father’s Day gift. Almost ten years ago, I made him the same shirt, and was super excited to be able to recreate it! Very disappointed to have received a shirt that is totally different from the pictured design.
