The Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide

Easily one of the best books to prep for joining the Coast Guard! The perspective it provides on what to expect as well as the information it has, it was one of my fastest preparation based purchases!

I highly recommend this book it might be a short book but it’s jam packed with a bunch of knowledge. I’m excited to study and practice. I’ve wanted to be a coast guardmen for a really long time. I’m so happy with this purchase because I would rather know what I’m getting into rather then just jumping right in. I’ve been watching his videos for a really long time now and he inspired me to become something. I really recommend this great book. Thank you Julian for all the information you give in the book and in your videos!

Good study guide if your going to cape may

The guide covers most of what is in the Helmsman, plus it goes over some of the required knowledge and recruit communications, which I found extremely helpful going into basic training. I can say without a doubt, that I would have been more stressed in basic if I didn't read this guide.

Take this seriously. If you read this guide, you are committed and desire to prepare. There are company requirements, but a chain is as strong as the weakest link. Make your individual 110% effort to avoid being reverted. Respect the traditions. If you believe you are good for bigger details and challenges, you must show you can handle then basic challenges.

The BEST BEST BEST Book prep for BC my first language is Spanish and thanks to this book I feel so much relieved. Easy to read and understand and have the most important info! extra info required and helsman don't have. I 10000000% recommended to everyone who wants to join and have a better experience. My son is joining the Coast Guard next month. According to his research, this book is exactly what he needs for mental preparation and reviewing the required knowledge. The book seemed short, but that's the great thing about the book. It doesn't pretend to have all the answers and doesn't overwhelm you with knowledge you don't need.

Got this for a friend going to bootcamp and they said It had all the information they needed to study to be ready and ahead of the game when it comes to knowledge!
