This battery is showing as new and I am in the break in period of charging the battery and fully draining.. It is a good replacement for our late 2012 Mac Book Pro RetinaPrice was fair, Got here a day earlier than expected.I hope to get another 7 years out of this battery:) It was time for a replacement..... Follow the directions for removing old battery with a nylon string and glue goo be gone... Took about an hour. Booted up and charged it for an 8 hours and was able to play three hours solid of You tube TV before it shut down. Not bad for no conditioning right out the box.I will post another update in a few days. If you are on the fence. Good vendor to buy from

I used the string method on YouTube to get under the old glue and then scraped out all the old glue. It took me about an hour and a half. But it really wasn’t too hard just a little painful cause of the string I used. It’s been working strong for 3 weeks now.

I am a computer repair store and I bought this battery for a customer unit. They took a while to bring in their computer and once the battery was installed I found it to be defective. But since its been too long I'm not longer able to return it and am just out the money.
