Through the clarification process, water and milk solids are removed leaving creamy rich, golden butter that is lactose and casein free. By removing the milk solids and water, which regular butter usually contains, you are left with ghee, a type of clarified butter. Because the milk solids are slightly toasted when making ghee, it has more golden color than regular clarified butter, and is a bit deeper in flavor.

Disappointed. Ghee has been a good thing for me
Disappointed. Ghee has been a good thing for me. At 70 have become lactose intolerant. Tried other brands on Amazon. My favorite was "Eat Good Fat" NO lactose problems with that one. Used it on everything. Last time I ran out EGF was in between batches and not available for a few days so decided to try a modestly priced alternative (this one). Well, it's NOT lactose free and brought back all my worst IBSD poop problems. I gave it away to a neighbor that loves the stuff. That's all.

Good butter
The butter smells really good, add a lot of favor to food. I tried it to bread and smells / tastes really great. It seems oily when apply to bread but the smells of butter makes the bread very tasty. I believe adding to steak might be another good way, which I am going to try next. The buttery taste will enhance my steak texture and favor.

It’s Organic and it’s really Healthy!!
The Ghee arrived is great packaging and was in perfect condition when I received it.I have tried several brands of Ghee, This one beats them all hands down.I replaced regular butter with Ghee a few years ago - this is going to be the one I stick to moving forward.I use it in cooking or simply as a spread on my toast or even rice. The bonus for me is it’s organic !! Love it!

Great Ghee
This stuff is awesome. I've tried about 3 different Ghee Butters and this one has been my favorite so far. Clean, smooth, etc.... I've used it to make pancakes, on toast, etc... I asked the seller (Rainbow Farms) a few questions and they were always quick to respond.
