False advertising - these DO NOT last "7 or 8 hours", as advertised. They burned through in 40 minutes, in the midst of a ritual this past Halloween. Curses were made, to be sure - do not buy if you want a long-lasting candle.

These candles look great and last a long time. They're exactly what I wanted. EXCEPT for one problem. The base seems to be a little smaller than the standard size advertised. Not by much, so they still work, but when I use them in my candle holders, I have to dribble some wax into the base to "glue" them into place lest they wobble or tip over. Not a big deal, but an unfortunate inconvenience.

Keep something under them to catch the wax. They drip a lot and make a mess. I don't mind a messy candle for some things like say Halloween or something but in this case I would have liked the candle to be more clean burning.

These are not 7/8" thick as the description states. As you can see in my photos, they are between 5/8" and 6/8" and therefore do not fit a standard candle holder and I am unable to use them.

Though they look fine, I broke 2 of them putting them into the candle holders. Not forcefully. I never had that happen before.

Candles arrived unbroken. Packaging was good. Love the look.

These came in gray! Not black! Even though the package said black.

These candles look beautiful coming out of the box but drip sooo much and burn out writhing 30 minutes! I lit them right before dinner was service and they were all gone before I finished serving! Very disappointing

Photo #1 shows that while the product claims to be dripless in its description, but it clearly is not. My second photo shows that I did trim the wick prior to lighting, and yet the wick seems to grow dangerously tall and it's not burning as fast as the wax is evaporating. Photo#3, shows that the candlestick actually come broken at the bottom.Finally photo #4 shows that the candles came individually and unnecessarily packaged in plastic. Because of this, I will not be returning them even though I want a refund. This is because of environmental reasons. If a candle is missing, they won't be able to resell it, and it would instead be trashed. Overall, I would not recommend this candle

Candle burned way to quick and had lots of black smoke. Also sticks were smaller then usual, so we’re to small for my candle holders.
