Miracle for 4C hair
Please understand that I've struggled over 30 years to grow my hair. Got this yesterday cause I saw a Youtube review with a woman who had hair like mine. After buys what seems like thousands of combs and brushes, I was skeptical, after all it's made in China, but decided "what the heck, keep trying girl". It arrived yesterday. I couldn't wait to try it. Spritzed dry, kinky, knotted hair hair, applied my coconut/leave in condish mix, started from the bottom, glide. Kept moving up, glide. Got my roots, glide. Looked at the hair in the comb - 4 strands (this was from a quarter of my head). Got down on my knees and thanked the Lord. If you have serious kinky hair, this is it. thank you Breezelike.

GREAT for African-American Natural hair
I have natural African American hair and this is my go-to comb. All edges are smooth and no seam lines on the teeth like with the wide tooth plastic combs. The teeth are rounded on the tips so no scratching of the scalp. Teeth are the wider than any comb I've seen in typical retail stores, so its perfect for detangling. I use it on wet hair all the time and it's held up fine (?8 months so far). I just make sure to condition it, like you would any piece of wood, so it doesn't get dry and splinter or crack - I just use hair oil, grease, etc. to condition it.

Works for fine curly hair too
My 3 year old daughter has fine curly hair that is difficult to brush out and this is fantastic! With some Shea Moisture detangling spray it brushed right through. It didn't separate the curls but it detangled her hair without any tears- she actually really enjoyed it! It had a very strong chemical smell and it does come from China which isn't a favorite for me, however it works well. The color was green rather than what was shown, also not a problem for me.

Beautiful easy to use
This arrived packaged very beautifully and securely. It was like getting fine jewelry. I used this on dry and wet hair and it works great on both. My daughters and I all have long, thick hair and this glided through. Even on huge tangles it doesn't hurt by pulling hair out. There is less hair on the comb than any other brush or comb I've ever used. And it takes about a minute to get all tangles out with no detangler sprays or creams, versus several minutes of brushing with using hair detangler with other combs. I can't think of a single bad thing to say about this comb. Some others were disappointed theirs looked different than the picture, but you have to expect being a natural wood product no two will ever be identical. Yours will be uniquely yours! But it looks close enough to know it is the same product pictured. See mine, gorgeous to look at and so wonderful to use!

Comfortable to the touch
This is the ultimate comb. Obviously it detangles hair, glides through my hair and is quite comfortable to hold the comb also. I cannot say enough good things about the comb - it smells nice also. Be certain not to get hair spray or sticky hair products on it. I made that mistake and the sticky spray literally ruined my old comb. So I purchased this new comb and love it. I'll be careful this time.

Beautiful comb, the only thing I use to brush my hair
I bought this because I felt like the seams on my plastic comb were harming my hair. For reference, I have long, straight, and very fine hair. Luckily it doesn't get too tangled, and this is the only thing I've used to brush it for several months. I've noticed a significant decrease in the flyaways and split ends I used to have, but I also made some other changes around the same time such as using a wooden hair fork instead of hair ties/plastic clips and started using shea butter and avocado oil as an end treatment so that could be part of it.This comb still smells like sandalwood and feels nice to use. I can tell it will last for a long time.

I am now a believer!
This comb came wrapped in a pretty box like it was a present. I didn't understand the hype about wooden combs and naturally curly hair until I tried it. I am now a believer. I have incredibly tight curls (4c for those that know what that is). I find in using wooden combs, as opposed to the plastic ones, I am not tugging on my hair as much. This comb is made from sandalwood so it has a nice smell if you like that scent, which I do. I would buy this again. I have to caution that although this can be used on wet hair, it is not recommended that you submerge the comb in water. It is also breakable so if you drop things, you may want to stock up on these. This comb is thick and sturdy so it may take a lot to break it.

Good product
I purchased this brush very early in my natural curly hair journey and I’ve been using it ever since. It’s been about one year and the brush is still in great condition. It is a great quality product. The very nice packaging was also a plus. When you open the box and see the packaging of this brush you can automatically tell this is a product of quality. I definitely would recommend for those who are interested in taking the right steps towards caring for there hair.

Great Combs
These large and wide tooth combs are great.I've purchased 2 of these.Must say, you might NOT get a sandalwood comb, my first one was sandalwood and smells wonderful but the second one I ordered is NOT sandalwood and has no scent beyond the usual subtle wood smell.Obviously this doesn't affect the combs usefulness but it's something to be aware of if you're buying this BECAUSE its sandalwood.See picture - darker comb on the right is the sandalwood oneAlso, this item ships from China (at least my second comb was shipped from China)

Well-made item
My only disappointment is the name- after some research I found it isn't actually sandalwood, but verawood. That said, a well made comb with pleasant scent. My hair feels smoother than when I brush it, and it's better for my curls. Beautifully packaged. I'll be sticking to wooden combs from now on.

A comb for thick curly hair.
Finally a comb for thick curly hair! I can comb it and my curls dont come out and it doesnt rip out my hair. It is also strong enough to deal with my thick, tuggy hair.

Good little comb
It’s a really nice comb, came earlier than expected. The teeth are quite spaced apart but I think this makes it feel better when you brush your hair with it. The handle is a bit small and I’ve got small hands but apart from that it’s excellent. Did arrive with weird fibres on it but don’t worry, these are the Crystal bits that form on sandalwood, as explained on the little card that comes with it.

Best comb, gentle on hair, lovely to hold making it easier to get knots out.. worth the money!🙂
I totally recommend this comb! 🙂 Yes its a bit pricey, but it's really worth the money. It looks really well made and smells lovely, it comes packaged in a classy box. I have waist length hair, the comb is so gentle on my hair making it easier to get knots out after washing, plus its sturdy / easier to hold. DEFINITELY the BEST comb iv ever bought! 🙂
