I've had these installed in my living room around the perimeter of the ceiling now for a few weeks. They have have a good and consistent warm color without being yellow. The high density of LEDs make for a pretty decent look.I think the outer plastic jacket will help keep the dust away (which has made it difficult to clean other non-jacketed LED strips). The only downside for the jacket is that I expect there isn't very good thermal dissipation so I don't want to run them at full power. They're plenty bright for my needs at a lower voltage so this was a good trade off.In my application I needed to use the full 10m length and I had hoped the 24V strips would have minimal voltage drop. Unfortunately, there is a pretty significant voltage drop especially at full power. I'm running the strips at 19.3V to limit dissipation and minimize the voltage loss and even so, the voltage at the end of the strip is 16.5V. One can easily see the difference in brightness between the start and end of the strip as shown in the attached picture. I also used a light meter which showed approximately 50% brightness at the end of the strip compared to the start. Thankfully in my application decrease in brightness is gradual enough over a the ceiling that the room doesn't seem unevenly lit. I only notice it when I look a the strips directly. I would suggest to anyone considering to use the full length of this strip to add supply wires to both ends of the strip.As some other reviews have pointed out, the wires attached to the strip were very underrated and with far too thin conductors. At full power the strip draws about 5A so to avoid additional voltage drop it's important to have appropriately sized wires. I just removed the factory leads anyway when I was installing so this is an easily solvable issue.Installing the adhesive tape on the strip was a little finicky to keep well aligned. I bought the adhesive recommended by the seller (B07QGZCZ2K) which worked well but in retrospect it would have been much easier if the adhesive was already present. I had a few oops where the tape poke out which looks a little unkempt up close since the tape I bought is black and the surface I install these on is white. Not a ding against these lights since the listing was clear about what I was getting but I think it might be useful to others considering this.

I ordered 3 strips at 2 different times. None of them came with adhesive tape. I am fine with that. Maybe even prefer that. But it should be very clear that this is the case in the listing. The tape adds cost, is not trivial to install, and should be considered in the decision.However, the illumination is super good. I love the density of the LEDs, the waterproof vinyl jacket, and the color temp. Brilliant white but no hint of blue. Just right IMO.

Lights work well. But as soon as you start cutting the strips into sections for use it basically is no longer water resistant. The plastic surrounding the LEDs allows liquid in once it is cut

These strip lights were very good. The 3M adhesive strip on the backside of these LEDs was fantasSTICK! (Yes... a play on words) lol. Much better adhesive than other strip lights. For best adhesion, get yourself a can of 3M 94 Primer...worth every Penney, about $21.00 per pint. This makes the strip lights stick forever! You can not remove the lights without destroying them. Perfect for extruded aluminum channel.The only wish I have....a small annoyance really...is that these strip lights are just like the chaser $6 light reels in that they are put together every couple of feet by soldier. For this price they should be totally free of mechanical splicing! That was the only reason for a four star review instead of a five star.

I just bought two of these strips to light an outdoor covered deck. The actual dimensions are 12' x 14' so I needed a total of 52' of lighting ... I cut each strip to 26' and installed using this controller: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PVRWFXD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 (I used the 24v 300w unit which appears now to be out of stock).At full brightness these strips light my deck space as brightly as you'd want for a workshop, so a dimming driver is absolutely a must, but at lower brightness they're very attractive. Unlike a lot of LED strips for sale, they are a very nice warm white -- not at all yellow or blue.Only reason I don't give them five stars is that, as others have reported, the supply wires are really inadequately sized for the wattage of the strips. It's not as serious as some suggest, as the wires only get warm (not hot) at full brightness which won't normally be what you'd choose ... but it's really sloppy engineering not to put at least 16g wire on these things.Also, the little installation clips they ship with these strips ... it comes with a bag of five clips and screws for a 32-foot strip. That's just not enough ... in fact not even close. I just bought other clips at Home Depot for the install, but it's really kinda silly to ship only five clips.But overall these are beautiful lights and I'd strongly recommend them.

The LED strip lights work perfectly for what I wanted them to do. Nice bright light.

I used this for two aquarium lighting system and they do work okay, seem bright enough though have never measured the foot candles. I found the solder tabs quite small so a little challenging to attach wires to. The wires that come attached to it are tiny, just a few strands and would overheat I'm sure if you tried to run the entire string. I was concerned that the strip is insulated inside of rubber (silicon or PVC??) and not allow heat to dissipate but that has not been an issue and seems to run cool enough for the 2+ months I have had it running. I cut them to about 135 cm each (you can cut at 5cm intervals) using silicone and heat shrink tube to seal the ends. It does not come with adhesive but RTV silicone stuck it down to my aluminum plate just fine. Don't forget this is 24v so you need the right driver to run it.
