Hard to find, works great
I needed to get an old computer with two floppy drives (5.25" and 3.5") going again, and the old cable had gone bad somehow. This replacement worked perfectly, and was long enough to route in the large tower. I was very glad to be able to still purchase an old-school cable like this. LOL.

Data loss, probably too long
I have 2 5.25" floppy cables. One is 6 inches, this one is 36. The 6 inch cable works great. This 36 inch cable has more trouble reading data and sometimes fails to communicate with the device at all.It does work somewhat, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing this cable.

Worked perfectly once I figured out how to connect it properly to the floppy drives in a computer I was building from old parts to get some files off some old 5-1/4" floppies I had. Thanks Obama.

Nicely built and exactly as pictured
Nicely built and exactly as pictured. It's a floppy cable! If it's not long enough don't bother looking for a longer cable, just search for a floppy extension cable and attach it to this one. Problem solved!

Will Break On First Use
This is the cheapest quality floppy cable I have ever seen. It fits too tightly, on both the motherboard and the drive. Removing the cable it breaks off leaving behind the actual connector on both the motherboard and drive requiring pliers and a lot of force to remove. This is just not worth risking vintage hardware for. I'll stick to a cable made over 30 years ago.
