Spyder Ford F150 Styleside 97-03 / F250/350/450/550 Super Duty 99-07 LED Tail Lights - Black

OK. SO my younger son had a shall we say mis-hap with my older son's pickup. Nothing major, just a little steel bend and broken tail lights. We opted for after market LED lights, and these here were the winners.After eagerly anticipating their arrival the day came, and we installed them with ease.. (Only wierd thing is that they use an incandescent backup bulbs. I would have thought that would have made a wonderful addition to the LED set.) Anywho.So install them with ease, plug em in and voila. We have lights.Fit and finish: Excellent, feel very durable and look awesome on the truck.Functionality: Well, here is where I draw some reservations. They are VERY bright.. Very bright indeed. HOWEVER. There is not enough contrast in my eyes to the brake lights from the running lights. They use the same LEDs and the high light output is only slightly brighter than the standard light.The backup lights of course are standard bulbs with no additional benefit. But no degradation either.All in all, I would not be adverse to buying another pair, however I would strongly consider the difference in running to brake lights. Daytime the brake lights stand out nicely. Night time. not to much. and if you were to have your headlights on during the day, forget it. Almost no change.Thanks for reading.Good Luck.

Being that I am a master certified technician for Ford, I must say these were a pleasant surprise of craftsmanship. I never would have thought I would receive these aftermarket taillights and they are built 100 times stronger than my original taillights. Now being that they are LED, just make sure when you plug in the stop lamp portion of your installation that you follow their instructions and mate the black wire of the plug on the housing side to the black wire of the plug on the truck side and you will be alright. They are very clear and I can actually drive in reverse without running into crap. When driving down the interstate you can see the pavement light up behind me when I hit the brakes, but also had a friend ride close behind and they were not too obnoxious. Overall these taillights are wonderful and made better than the ones from Ford, perfect fit, no trouble installation, and look amazing. My truck looks 10 years newer now. The only trouble I had was deciding if I wanted the full black housing or the similar taillights but with the bright red housing. But so far I'm loving the black housing. I would recommend these to everyone!!!

I got this and I really like them. Worth the money, yes. The only problem I have is I haven’t had them for a year yet and my passenger rear side brake light is out and I can’t find out the part number to get a new one to replace so I have to buy a whole new set. Other than that, I do like them and the look of them.

Perfect fit. Looks great on my 2004 F250. Stock screws fit really tight! Be careful not to break the plastic insert. I used lubricant and slowly screwed and unscrewed sort of like tapped it before final install. They really should come with new screws that fit. That’s the only reason these got four stars. The photo shows black lens, but it’s more like a light smoke tint.

The instructions weren't perfectly clear that you remove the vehicle bulb and push the new plug from the light into the bulb socket...but that being done...it's a beautiful, sleek addition to my truck after some jerk ran into it while I was parked. They broke the light and smashed in the tailgate. Upgrading and doing the work myself gave my truck a new, sleek and stylish look. Not to mention that the LED's are brighter than the old bulbs. Fit perfectly and come securely wrapped for worry free shipping.

They were so good I bought a second pair for my wife's truck. The second set was damaged on delivery. No fault of the lights. I just ordered another set to replace the broken one. They look great and are very bright. You wont be disappointed!!

I had the recon lights on before, but someone thought it was a good idea to break one of the lenses out. So i found these on here and decided to give them a try. I received them in a timely manner and come to notice they are built with the same if not better quality then the recons. The lens are not as dark with the tint as the recons, but the l.e.d.'s are alot brighter then my old ones. Plus these lights are half the price. Very happy with these lights, recommend them to any f250 owner who wants an inexpensive led tailgate upgrade.
