GE 98910 UltraSonix 2.0 Speakers

These are excellent speakers. Bought first set 2 years ago, and bought another set 16 months later, after buying some others and they were cheap and failed. Could not find this set again, but luckily they came back on the internet I found them. Sound is great, huge range of volumn and sturdy. Won't tip over. Best buy. you will not go wrong in buying these if you can find them on the market now. They are GE speakers. I bought GE telephone with 2 cordless phones and same thing. Sound is great and loud, easy dial, everything is good with GE.

The headphone jack did not work

I am sure I would love it after returning it and getting the one with the USB cable. I have an emachine laptop and need the flat end cable to connect it into the laptop. I do not need the outlet plug to plug into the wall.

They produce quality sound up until a certain point. At that point, they crackle and make static-like noises. You can't "blast" it, which was slightly disappointing.

so far (several months in) they're doing the job well....

One of the speakers gave a crackling sound even at the lowest volume. DO NOT BUY.

I paid $10 for them to provide audio to a mobile projector and they do the job. The sound quality is very poor but if you need something for their utility and low price, these will work. I would not pay $20 (Current Amazon price).
