Beautiful color with HUGE blooms
Absolutely GORGEOUS. I put a rose arch at the entrance to my new rose garden, and planted one of these on each side of it. It is slowly climbing to cover the arch, and the blooms are HUGE, in a deep, dark red. I am so happy with my choir of this particular climbing rose!

rows leaves, never blooms. Seller deflects instead of fixing the issue.
We purchased this climbing rose in May 2025. The plant is now 5–6 feet tall, very green, and clearly alive - but it has never produced a single bloom. What’s frustrating is not just the plant, but the seller’s response. Instead of addressing the possibility of a defective or non-performing plant, the seller repeatedly shifted blame to the customer: - First, they suggested the soil was wrong. - Then, they suggested fertilizer issues (no granular or slow-release fertilizer was ever used). - Finally, they claimed the rose may not bloom for 2–3 years, despite the product being advertised as continual blooming. For context, we have multiple roses growing in the same garden (inc. different roses from the same seller) under the same conditions, including a climbing rose purchased locally for $3 that has already bloomed twice. This one has not bloomed at all. Troubleshooting is reasonable, but using it to deflect responsibility for a non-performing product is not. A rose sold as a continual bloomer that produces zero flowers for over six months should not automatically be treated as “user error.” Buyers should be aware that if this plant fails to bloom, the seller’s default approach appears to be prolonged troubleshooting rather than resolution.

The perfect red rose climber. Fast growth and hardy.
Perfect description. I’ve had the Don Juan previously and they’re beautiful, hardy and fast growers that are easily trained.

Lady in Red likes Pennsylvania
Took 6 days to arrive from west coast to Philadelphia area. Roses were in good condition and leaves have greened up. One bush already has a bloom on it. One gallon roses are a lot easier to plant than a three gall on pot which I found locally . Nobody had a smaller pot size of Lady in Red so I took a chance and ordered these .They are doing great and are looking very healthy and happy in Chester County.

My new climbing rose bush
The rose bush arrived in a timely manner. It had a bloom and looked in great shape. I am looking forward for it to enlarge and produce more flowers.

Arrived alive
The red Florentina I bought arrived alive and well. I planted it and it is growing. I may give an update in a couple months. I decided to buy a Don Juan and a New Dawn to give them a try, I live in central Kentucky. Edit: Now in 2nd year - May 2024 the Florentina is halfway up my trellis and producing beautiful blooms that look just like the pictures, I consider it an aggressive climber as it is outperforming the Don Juan and the New Dawn both in height and bloom count even though the Florentina doesn't get as much sunlight. All my roses get about 4 hours of afternoon to evening sun from about 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM in spring and a little more in summer as they are on the north western side of my privacy fence.
