Review: No regrets - I have straight, long brows, and some hairs grow straight down. I considered shaving them and getting microblading, but it’s painful and requires frequent touch-ups, especially with oily skin like mine. A friend recommended this procedure, and since LA is expensive, I decided to try it myself. I watched a couple of videos and went for it. The instructions were very clear. I set everything up by the sink, organized the tubes, cut the papers in half, and got started. I applied cream #1 for 5 minutes because I have sensitive skin, then wiped it off. I applied cream #2, brushed the hairs upward, covered them, and left it for 10 minutes, then wiped again. Finally, I applied cream #3 and left it in. The next morning I brushed my brows into place, and they stayed perfectly. I’m so happy—this kept me from plucking or cutting the downward hairs, which was making my brows too thin. Now I actually love my brows. Review: Planchado de cejas - The best product I have used to be able to iron my eyebrows, is not at all aggressive with your skin , and leaves you with a beautiful finish, very easy to use, the effect lasts for about a month. one of my favorite products from desertcart.

Why isn't this more popular?!
I am an AA woman with slightly unruly brows and a bald patch on one (thanks 2000's pencil thin brow fad) that I cannot hide well no matter how much pomade, gel, or whatever I use. I was starting to look into microblading to hide it, but I REALLY didn't want the pain of microblading or the yearly upkeep, and I thought the faded results just weren't worth it. I learned about 'eyebrow ironing' from an Instagram salon tech in NY, who charged $140 per session to straighten and reset curly and unruly eyebrows. It looked like it would cover up my bald spot and transform my brows into the fluffy wonders I see on social media (NOT the highly defined ones, the natural fluffy ones glowy models have). Buuuuut, I don't live in NY and I don't want to spend $140 for such a service so I researched the origin of the technique and learned of its Hispanic roots thanks to YouTube and numerous Google searches. After watching several reviews for this kit, I made the jump and bought it. The instructions are very clear, in English and Spanish. You get everything you need, but I also recommend using an eyebrow spoolie to help reposition your eyebrow hairs how you want. I needed to use it to ensure I did a proper "comb over" of my bald bit. First, the product. As an AA woman who used to relax her hair - this SMELLS LIKE RELAXER. It alarmed me a little bit, but also reassured me that this was going to work, to be careful, to track my time, and to take this seriously. This isn't some weak product. The guide says to keep the straightening creme on for 5-15 minutes. I don't know who could need 15 minutes. 5-6 minutes was all it took for me. I took off the papers intermittently to brush my eyebrow hairs and check progress so I wouldn't over do it. Since it smelled like a relaxer, it could probably burn my skin like a relaxer would. I wiped the product off as instructed and put on the neutralizer (again, familiar from my relaxer days), brushed my hairs into shape, and then put the papers on. I left it on for the full recommended 10 minutes, then wiped off as instructed. Finally I put on the reconstructor and brushed it through with my spoolie (oh yeah, please clean your tools after each step or you'll put active solution back on your eyebrows and mess it all up). At the end, my brows were perfect but the skin was a tiny bit tender. I would not recommend waxing before or after this treatment, especially if you have sensitive skin. I did pluck a few hairs afterwards to help the shape and that was ok. I would not recommend doing an AHA or BHA serum after or before this (they're acids and will irritate your new tender brows). Wait a day or so. You can't do the treatment sooner than 5 weeks after the last one (again, another throwback to my relaxer days). I plan on trying to stretch this service two to three months between using. Doing so, this box should last me a year easily. I cannot believe my brows. They're amazing, I keep looking at them in the mirror. They're fluffy and behaved. I barely need product in them in the morning. I HIGHLY recommend this kit. I might buy another to keep on hand just in case they stop selling it on Amazon.

Step one Formula change?
This used to be the best working kit But the last several boxes I’ve received have been terrible. Step one must be a new formula and I’ve talked to several other brow artist about this as well. The new formula of step one is not good. Now I need to find a new product after using this for five years
