Indian Head Corn Meal Old Fashioned Stone Ground White 2 Lbs (2 Pack)

The cornmeal is just the right grind. After covid it has been impossible for me to find stone ground white meal. We like to mix the yellow and white for cornbread. Looking forward to some good eating.

Above average corn meal! My go to when making corn bread. Here it is:1.5 cups cornmeal2 cups buttermilk3 tablespoons flour1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon baking soda1 eggBacon grease for panGet a cast iron hot in your oven at 450F. Mix all the ingredients. Once the pan is hot take it out and add bacon grease. It should start to smoke fairly quickly. Pour cornbread mix into pan and bake for 22 minutes!

Great for dusting pizza pan.

Little more expensive but worth it. I normally buy Quakers. I can only find yellow meal or cornmeal mix so I decided to try this one. I will buy it again.

I couldn't find white meal anywhere else (stores or websites). This is the brand my parents and grandparents used. It's the best.
