This product isnt the same it was many yrs ago. The laws have made the company change this product bc they thought it was harmful to people. Funny to me when I was a kid, this was around for scrapes & cuts. It always helped our boo boos heal quickly. Didnt cause any harm to kids way back when. Just my opinion. JM. I dont know where it was made tho, just that it was a plentiful item back in the 40s & 50s.

Does it have an expiration date?

Yes. Mine says 8/2022. I bought it a few months ago. However, it should retain it's potency long after.

Nothing like the original old time Mercurochrome which never stung. This one has stung slightly upon applying to a cut finger. Cured the cut in a few days!
