Reverberation Terror Original Soundtrack 2 -crystalized-

This is one of the best soundtracks of recent yer. Though not he best it still manages to meet all expectations, and then some. Nothing less from a master composer such as Kanno.

Although Zankyou no Terror had its flaws in the writing/character depth department, which caused the show to collapse in on itself at around episode ten, this soundtrack keeps it in my memory as an amazing ride. Although not quite as intense as the first CD, the soundtrack is a wonderful work of music filled with the soft tones that were typical for the series.Even if you didn't like the show, this soundtrack is a must.

１枚目で作られているこの残響のテロルの世界観はそのままに、アルバムとしてはまた違った楽曲を持ってきてより深い感じで作品の世界観を広げているという感じでしょうか。菅野よう子さんだからこそ、場面にあわせるというより、楽曲そのものでも聞き入れる感じになっていると思います。それと、opとedがフルバージョンで収録されているのも、作曲が菅野さんだからなのか、サントラとしては珍しいパターンかもしれません。

特にNHKでは、バラエティとかでなくてドキュメンタリーで使われているのをしばしば耳にします。

自分の外出や自宅内でのバイオリズムにあっているので、きいているとおもしろい。このアルバムジャケットの包装って金属のような結晶のようなこの絵が、開封するときはがれて分解していくように見えるしかけなの？

完成度の高いCDです。欲をいえば1と2を別にする方法はやめて欲しい（他でもこの手法多用してますが）。エンディング、オープニングを初めから入れて１枚のサントラとして出して欲しい。金儲けのようであざといので１マイナスです。
