Nice shorts, but those pockets!
I bought these cargo shorts because I wanted "cargo shorts." You know: the military look without all that bothersome drilling, marching, and shooting. (A fashion victory!)Is that a banana in my pocket? YES! And an orange. And a pocket comb. And an extra set of keys. And my sunglasses! (Totally prepared now!)How many times have you been in a restaurant, and thought, "Man! I wish I'd brought my own jar of mayonnaise?"That's what I wanted! MY OWN JAR OF MAYONNAISE!But that's not what I got. I got "(4) cargo-flap pockets," NONE OF WHICH will hold a jar of mayo. Nor my cell-phone, unless I put it in sideways, and even then it wants to jump out because the pocket is just barely deep enough for a sideways phone.Sorry, Wrangler, but whoever came up with this idea should be assigned to the company cafeteria, putting mayo in those little fold-out paper cups for people that want extra. These pockets are the "smart car" of cargo pockets: not big enough for anyone who needs them. The form and fit are nice. I would love to love these shorts. But they get an F for function. Look elsewhere for your mayo-smuggling needs...

The Pockets are too many and too small
Worst cargo pants ever. Pockets are small and no cell phone pocket.I buy cargo short so I have a pocket for my phone and a pocket to slide a 16 oz. water bottle into. These cargo shorts have none of that. What were they thinking when they designed these?Pockets in the front are big enough to hold a deck of cards and that's all.I'll never buy these again.

Worked great for theme parks
Purchased these for a week long trip to the theme parks, and couldn't have been happier. I was able to keep my wallet on me in my pocket and also put my sunglasses in them; so I didn't have to place items in a locker. The material was good too, as I was worried it would be to heavy and make me sweat even more in the heat (as some brands do), but no, it was just right.

Poor sizing
I wear these Wrangler cargo camo shorts everyday. I have for years. Usually I buy them at Walmart. Just turns out my size 42 is not available there. Hasn’t been since last summer.Do I try Amazon. Prices vary widely. But around $20 plus minus a little I find acceptable. Finally I find my size 42 and it’s IN STOCK. Awesome. I place my order, takes 2 weeks. Well turns out they forgot to send it. So someone us getting a spanking in the back office and someone else gets to send it out. Finally arrives like 10 days late.I always expect evil mechanisms at play, so I rip open the package and check the size. Phew. It is a 42. Thank heavens.A week later I try them on. Let’s rephrase that. I “try” to put them on. My old 42 is quite loose, but I’m too big to “comfortably” wear a size 40. This new pair of shorts? I’m a good 2 inches from even getting close to closing the button. As in, no way can I wear them.So if a real 42 is loose for me and a real 40 is a bit tight, then what size is this? A 38 or 36? With a 42 label on it?I understand that often there are different models, designations like relax fit or comfort fit, plaid or straight come to mind. But they all should still be a 42, not 2-3 sizes smaller. It’s why I don’t like ordering online. Now I’m torn if I should send it back. If I do, the next guy is going to get a spanking in the back office.I think I will donate them. Plenty of people in need these days. So if you see some poor homeless guy in NYC with wrangler cargo camo shorts hanging under his butt because they are sized wrong, yea you know where he got them from.Problem remains: I still don’t have a new pair of shorts.

but I like that. The only thing I don't like are ...
They run on the large side, but I like that. The only thing I don't like are that the "cargo" pockets are essentially useless. Instead of the traditional single large pocket on either side, they split them up into several small pockets, none of which are large and/or deep enough to be useful for anything significant (which is kind of the point of cargo shorts).

Erratic sizing and materials, but if you get a good one, they're great!
I usually wear a 31" waist but since these seem to run a little large, I got a 30". Here's the crazy thing: I ordered the same size in three different colors and each fit differently!- Anthracite Twill fit like a 32", so I kept it and just use a belt.- Acorn Twill fit like a 31", which is perfect for me.- Bullfrog was a snug 30" (possibly 29.5") and too tight, so I returned it.The fabric was also erratic across the different colors, with the Acorn Twill having a lighter weight material than the Anthracite Twill.Despite those issues I really like the ones I kept. They're just the right length, ending just above the knee and they don't ride up high when seated. They're sturdy and I haven't noticed any signs of wear in the few months I've had them. The only other complaint are the pocket liners. While these shorts are supposed to be 100% cotton, the pocket liners feel more like polyester (slick and not breathable). It's not a big deal, they're just not as soft as cotton pocket liners. For the price they're worth a shot, just make sure you order from a seller with free returns due to the erratic quality control.

Excellent quality, fab price, fit perfectly.
These cargo shorts are well worth the money. The quality of the material is lovely and they wash up well and can be tumble dried. I hunted high and low for cargo shorts for my husband, some being very expensive and couldn't even be tumble dried, I even returned others. These are by far the best in price, quality and fit. My husband is a 34" waist and these shorts were a 34" and a perfect fit. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.

Love these cargo shorts.
Excellent quality shorts, plenty of room if you’ve been going to the gym and not missed leg days. Arrived well packed, and promptly too. Recommended 👍

Size was not that marked
I liked the look of these as they had a long inseam and wider bottoms. I ordered a 32 inch waist (the smallest available). When I wore them for the first time, and after the new garment snugness had worn off, they kept slipping down. I know that's how young people wear them but surely they buy a larger size. I'm old and prefer the waist band to sit above my butt. At the end of the day spent yanking them up I measured them at 35 inches! I know sizes aren't always accurate but 3 inches bigger is a joke. I needed them so had the waist taken in.Also, the arrangement of small pockets has proved less useful. Fewer and bigger is best.

Fit for purpose.
There are not many makes of clothing I can buy and know they will fit, which is why, most of the time, I go shopping for clothes in the high street and have to try them on. When I buy Wrangler clothes I know they'll fit and can buy them off the internet. Oh yes, and they're well made, unlike most of the clothing on the high street !
