Seiko Men's SRP483 Seiko 5 Automatic Orange Dial Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch

This is my 3rd Seiko automatic movement watch. This one was a little bigger than I thought it would be, but I had never seen one in person. To be honest, I really like the size. It is, obviously, also a little heavier than my skx009. The watch came in original Seiko packaging, with all manuals and a warranty card from Seiko. All of the adhesive bracelet protectors were still in place as well. I literally got it in just today, and will report back if there are any issues, but so far it's amazing. Seiko makes some seriously top notch watches for unbeatable prices. My last one, the skx009, was more than a little fast when I first got it, but after a couple months it slowed down and kept almost perfect time. This one has the new movement which has a hacking feature- allowing you to stop the second hand while you set the time. This is a great feature for someone who likes to be precise. =) It's a great watch- looks great, feels great, performs great so far. I will certainly respond back if I have anything to add.*** 4 months in ***The watch still continues to amaze me. It settled in and is keeping really good time, I gain about 2-6 seconds a week, depending on if I wear it every day or switch off between my other watches. Great watch, I'm extremely happy with it.

Received the watch in good working order. It was packed nicely. Upon sizing the watch for my wrist, it feels pleasantly comfortable and not very heavy. I like the hackable features of this movement. Windable feature is very nice. The strong face color contrast of the orange, black and white make this a super quick glance wrist watch. The polished appearance of the case and bracelet make this a real eye catcher at a dinner table. Although 100M doesn't make this a true diver watch, it will feel right at home near my swimming pool and beach visits. Such a great value wrist watch. ~$150 USD ?? wow. This is my 3rd Automatic in my collection. I am so happy with Seiko quality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this watch to a friend.

Its very nice looking but if you need to adjust the bracelet do it somewhere where you know its good job because mine had to be done every once in a while because the pin doesn’t stay in place.

The original Orange Monster was kind of the watch collector's guilty pleasure. It doesn't look out of place in a box along side Omegas and Rolexes, its built like a tank, it wears very comfortably and it looks great.The baby monster delivers the same experience with a larger dial and a more useful bezel. And it comes in at a ridiculously low price. You give up the screw down crown and a lot of water resistance (Baby Monster is 100ft and the OM is 300) largely due to the lack of a screw down crown. That doesn't bug me. I love this watch. I put mine on an orange rubber strap. Looks fantastic. This is another winner from Seiko!

I own several watches and recently decided to buy another Seiko automatic. I was looking specifically for an orange dial. This watch caught my eye so I decided to pull the trigger and give it a try. I’m glad that I did. The orange face with black accents is a very nice look. The bracelet is decent (not on par with the monster, but not bad either). The lume is fantastic. I like the fact that it’s larger than the Seiko Monster. This “Baby Monster” is sure to get a lot of wrist time. Between the awesome looks and the solid Seiko reliability this watch is a steal for the price.

I love this watch. It's oversize but not so gigantic i cannot wear it. The colors are fantastic. Great for anyone who likes orange (me) or who wants a "fall color" watch face. The glow in the dark hands work pretty well if you've had it in the son.The watch is heavy in a substantial way and has kept its shine without regular cleanings. If you don't wear it for a day you need to check/adjust the time, but its so easy to adjust it doesn't matter.I've bought two others with different color schemes as gifts.

Super cool watch. Bigger that the Monster series which if fine by me. I have a 7-1/4" wrist and it wears perfectly. Nice bracelet with standard push pins. The look of the bracelet is that of the Monster series but the pins are easier to remove for adjusting. The Monster series have a pin and collar set up that a lot people end up messing up. If you like the Monster but not the price this is a perfect watch for you. It features Seiko's in house 4R36 automatic movement which has winding and hacking. Overall there is really nothing bad I can say about this watch. I own two Monsters but this one gets as much if not more wrist time.

Seiko5 Orange SRP483l: Arrived couple days early w/ all Seiko docs. Bracelet & crystal covered w/ protective plastic. The photo doesn't show how gorgeous a deep orange the face is. The black around the lume markers gives a sharp contrast that makes the orange stand out even better. Bezel numbers are large & easy to read. Bracelet is a brushed finish w/ just a bit of polish on each link and the bracelet long enough to just fit 'comfortably' on an 8¼" wrist. Would love to buy an extra link or 2, if they're available.

Das Design ist einfach nur fantastisch.Wobei das natürlich Geschmackssache ist, aber wer Taucheruhrendesign mag, ist mit der Seiko 5 Sport SPR483 bestens bedient.Mit einer Druckfestigkeit von 10 bar ist die Uhr natürlich nicht zum Tiefseetauchen geeignet, aber ich denke, das istfür die Meisten verkraftbar, da vermutlich nur wenige Träger von Taucheruhren tatsächlich Taucher sind.Es geht meist schlicht um die Begeisterung für das Thema bzw. den Mythos, also Emotionen, wie z. B. auch bei Fliegeruhren.Die drehbare Lünette läuft unglaublich geschmeidig. Diese ist in schwarz und orange beschriftet und nimmt damit die Farben des Ziffernblattes auf. Die dicken Indizes und markanten Zeiger vollenden das Bild perfekt.Den Kronenschutz, der nicht verschraubten Krone, möchte ich ebenfalls nicht unerwähnt lassen.Das Armband besteht aus massiven und schweren Gliedern und wirkt damit sehr wuchtig und wertig.Das Uhrwerk ist ein Seiko 4R36 Automatik (Sekundenstopp, Handaufzug möglich). Dieses Werk lässt eine ausreichende Präzision und lange Lebensdauer erwarten.Ergänzung vom 10.1.2019:Die Leuchtmasse auf den Zeigern und Indizes ist bei Weitem effektiver als bei anderen Uhren.Obwohl die Uhr zu dieser Jahreszeit nicht viel Licht bekommt, zumal sie bislang nur im Haus getragen wurde,ist die Leuchtkraft enorm.Bereits bei nur leichter Abdunkelung, ist ein Leuchten erkennbar.

Great watch and just as good as a full monster. Not much difference in them. Same size and look but the full monster has a 200m water rating and a slightly upgraded movment. Well worth the money. Put mine on a nato as I prefer them to the metal strap. Size you will need if your going to do the same is 22mm. The accuracy on this one is plus 15 seconds per day. Dont bother me as I just stop it for 15 seconds every morning them I'm good to go. Seiko really are great watches.

This is my 9th watch (in current collection), but my very first Seiko.I have large wrists, like weighty watches (enough so I know its there), and like the diver style.The Orange face and the lettering on the Bezel is unusual, but very nicely presented - The white hour marks and hands compliment the colour scheme nicely.The watch strap fitted a little loosely, but adjusting the pin position on the clasp 2 notches sorted that out in a couple of minutes.Packaging was satisfactory, and the strap had clear film on both sides - Nicely protected.Its my current day-to-day watch; until I need something more weighty and return to my Phoibos.An excellent purchase - Nicely priced - And nicely presented.

This is an awesome watch. It looks great both smart or casual and the orange dial is certainly an eye catcher. The fact that it is automatic means no battery changes.
