What can I say this book is amazing
I could write a lot about this book but I think if you are going to buy this book you should like the artist a lot plus this is more then art this is a cultural insight. In the book you will see great printed prints but also tales and how the artist draws inspiration from tale that are not commonly know in the west. Also region plays a big part in this as well but I don't know much as I am not a specialist in this field.

Great book but too pricey.
The book is excellent. Very large, interesting, very high quality paper, well written with high quality printed beautiful large reproductions. But, a little bit too expensive if you compare the price with some other books and what can you get for that kind of money.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!
This is a beautiful book: a must have for those who love Japanese prints! Not only does the book include beautiful full size plates of all the prints in the series, it also includes a biography of Yoshitoshi and explanations that are very useful to place the series in its historical, and even, psychological context.I strongly recommend it!

A hefty book well worth the price
A hefty book with quality pages almost as thick as card. The reproduction of the prints are excellent and as I bought it on offer with over £40.00 discount I am over the moon with it (pardon the pun). Even at full price I think I would still have been happy with it.
