very pricey, there is a better option!
chalk trail itself is a great recommendation, it motivates the kids to go on their bikes invites friends and make beautiful patterns. but as they are using it a lot, it goes very fast too. a replacement package like this is not cheap either, but fits gently. I Found a better idea!! I went to the dollar store, got all kinds of playgound chalk and a piece of tape.bundled a few smaller pieces together (like 3 or 4) that fit into the holder, now they can make by themselves a rainbow almost and get more patterns out of it.if they like a single color, but a smaller piece in a toilet paper roll and good to go!giving it a lower score not because of quality, but because there is a simple more cooler and cheaper approach available. price is my main reason for rating.

Chalk
It's chalk. It's the only size chalk that fits in the Chalktrail thing that attaches to a bike. My kids love it. The neighbor kids love it. Sometimes it falls out of the Chalktrail. But that's usually because it's down to a nub and there's nothing for the Chalktrail to grip on to. So we put in a new piece. Hence a 5 star review for the replacement chalk. Without the replacement chalk, the Chalktrail would be useless.

We have received this chalk and the bike attachment as gifts, and because we've loved it so much, we now give it as a gift too! So fun!

Do your kids love riding their bikes???
If your kids love riding their bikes, or if you wish they loved riding their bikes… you should get one of these things! My two kids (ages 5 and 2.5) absolutely love this thing and it makes them want to ride even more. I wish regular sidewalk chalk could fit in the “ChalkTrail” but that doesn’t keep me from absolutely loving this product! I’ll continue to keep my garage stocked with standby pieces of chalk ready for the kids… very cool product!

I think they'll like this!
The chalks looks like they're supposed to--the pieces are large--I think the kids in our family will like this product, but I won't know until Christmas....
