Great presentation style
While itโs difficult for the author to fit a lot of material in a single book, the presentation style is clear and great, and there are many hidden features presented.

I also appreciate the attention to detail in these books Highly recommended.
I bought the first book of this GEM series "Logic Pro X - How it Works" and didn't think twice to also buy this follow-up book "Logic Pro X - The Details". Logic can be overwhelming, especially when exploring the more advanced features. However, the author is doing such a phenomenal job explaining and illustrating even the most complex functionality, that I always have the feeling that I stay on top and not get lost.I also appreciate the attention to detail in these booksHighly recommended.

Best Learning Tool (part 1)
I bought the first Logic book from this author (Logic Pro X - How it Works) and reading now the "Details" books to learn all the more in-depth feature of Logic. Watching YouTube videos to learn Logic is fine for a quick demonstration of a single feature or workflow, but there is no comparison to the wealth of information these books provide. Reading through them is almost like watching a slide show, one step away to actually a video presentation. Worth the money. Its Highly recommended.

GEMs are the Best
GEMs are the bestFinally, after a some wait, I can continue to master Logic Pro X with this followup book to Logic Pro X - How it Works. After a week with these two new books that detail the more advanced features of Logic, I realized that no matter how complicated a feature seems to be, with the right explanation and the right graphics, its so much easer to understand. Now I can unleash all the powers of Logic and finally use it like a pro. Thank you GEM books.

Unparalleled
The Best Logic Books ... the sequelI have the other Logic books "Logic Pro X - How it Works" from Edgar Rothermich, which is the best book available for Logic Pro X in my opinion. His "graphically enhanced" writing style is so much easier, so much faster, and so much more in-depth when learning the app. It was a no brainer to also get his new book when it came out. The details and clarity, how he explains topics that other books shy away from, is unparalleled.

There has to be some use for a ยฃ50 pound book that is not unto date with the new Logic Pro 10.4.1 surely the menus cannot have changed as much as they appear to have? If one could contact Amazon it may help them to understand to keep a breast of changes to modern software programs and warn their customers before they buy
