Great Sound
I got these because they were recommended on Reso Hangout, and I broke my original 4 string trying to bring it up to G ๐. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Anyway I tuned these strings to open D because I prefer Vestapol tuning, it makes the dobro play like a harmonica. These strings sound great. Number 6 string tuned to D rings like a church bell. The sustain and tone are definitely better than my original strings.

Good strings
Bought these to replace what came stock on my lapsteel, and I was not disappointed. Great tone, smooth playing, and they look like they'll last a long time.

Great Strings
These strings sound great on my Dobro. They are strong and have a good ring to them. I don't use any others but Pearce.

Not just for G tuning Pearse strings have long been associated with resonator guitars and this set shows why. I'm not clear why they're identified with the G tuning, as I tend to play in open D and DADGAD and the strings work fine. Pearse also has a Spanish Neck set that I like, though the first string is a bit light.

I like these strings better than a very expensive set I had on my dobro.
