After having a set of LED light strips on my back patio, they stopped working after about a year being up so I was looking for something to replace them. I found this LED strip on Amazon at a really good price and decided to try it out.Overall, the light strip works just like any other LED light strip, easy plug and play and easy to use remote with basic instruction manual with easy to follow instructions and pictures. The lights are very bright with alternating colored and white lights throughout the strip. What this does is give you a really bright white light which is hard to do with Color LEDs because basically all of the colors is what creates white light. It’s nice to be able to switch back-and-forth between color and white but also being Able to display both white and colored at the same time.I downloaded the mobile Home pro app and I’m very impressed with the functionality of the app. It works over your Wi-Fi and gives you easy access to a remote on your mobile phone but also gives you more light options as far as the color is concerned.Check out my videos included and you’ll see exactly what I mean.If you’re looking for a quality LED strip at a low price with lots of functionality look no further this one has all the bells and whistle’s, give it a try and you will see for yourself.

Overall great product, all of these LED strips as a consumer product still seem to be in a maturing phase, they are not great across the board (yet). some are pretty good and some are so-so. Most of the issues are around the power solution & control methods, not as much the actual light strips. This one is great the light density and brightness is exactly what I was looking for. Having the wireless connection and smart capabilities is a huge plus, and I think its mandatory for these to be convenient enough to make sense with all their RGB-ness. I'm planning on using these as under kitchen cabinet strips (so above my main counter spaces) and getting a motion sensor and setting it up so these lights will turn on automatically when I trigger the motion sensor. Which I believe I can do but have not implemented yet.The Bad:Like others have said the remote is a basic RGB remote and not technically designed for RGB-W so once you use the remote for any selection you can not through just the remote turn back on the white dedicated LED's again, you need to use the app. This can be annoying, but if your like me and you use smart audio devices for controlling lights already its not a big deal. I never intended on using the included remote even if it was amazing anyway, since I want to use a motion sensor as my primary on-off trigger for the strip.The Good:The light density (how many you see in a given foot of length) is good, which is an important factor to uniform, and bright strips. Those 10 dollar 16.4 ft strips are really mediocre and don't produce a lot of light, and in that price range never seem to have RGB-W, they tend to just be RGB.The -W part is hugely important if you just want lighting, and not like mood/color lighting, so this was critical for my needs. The -W produces a much more normal white light than the RGB only strips, their 'white' selection is mediocre and often not that bright and off color from typical lights in a home. If you press W on the remote and the white dedicated lights are off you will see what I mean.I don't know if this is the best, but it should fit my needs fine, and its better than the cheap ones. We still need to see more general product maturation for these Light strips + controller/power combos, the more simple it is and very importantly the more simple the control methods are the better. If anything is not sufficiently convenient is just simply won't get used, or won't get used to its potential. So ease of access/control on these types of products is critical and they still have some room to grow. Thank goodness we have smart device/wi-fi integration now though! Happy shopping.

These are cheap. The app is easy to use, and it was simple to pair with my smart home. It's what you want from a basic tape light. I was trying to use mine as an undercabinet light, which I do not recommend, it's not well suited for that. As an accent light it works quite well, however.• The connector is poor quality. It's possible mine was defective because it didn't lock into the receptacle, but I think even a properly functioning connector would be pretty flimsy. My light has a tendency to flicker or change color if you look at the connector wrong - the kitchen is too high traffic of an area for it, but I think it will be fine higher up where people can't bump it.• The cold white chip is just blue. It's not worth buying; I'd spring for the neutral or the warm white instead, maybe they are better? I was hoping for a cool white and it did not deliver.• The adhesion of the tape is terrible. I was trying to use it for undercabinet lighting and it kept falling down. I ended up buying some 3M double sided tape which worked better. If it's facing up or sideways probably wouldn't be an issue.• The remote is unnecessary if you have the app.It's nowhere near as bright or as nice as say, a Hue tape light, which is what I eventually switched my undercabinet lighting to, but it's also a fraction of the price. I wouldn't recommend using this for task lighting like I was, but for accents and ambience this is a solid buy. I'm moving it to a cove that just needs a pop of color.

I'm not doing anything crazy. I wanted a plug and play WLED strip. I wanted a dedicated white with the option of color and this provided exactly that.The adhesive sucks. I bought 3M double-sided tape which I have found to hold Literally everything I've ever stuck it to. The adhesive from the factory won't stick to paint and it won't even stick to the 3M double-sided tape.

These LEDs are superb and are phenomenal. Easy to use and adjust for length and produce great colors and brightness.

I was so excited to put up some lighting around my headboard. I ordered some nice LED channels to cast light on the wall. It was a fun project. Tossed the lights in and worked great. For around one second. Then one side starts acting wonky and as I inspect it I find it has completely broke apart. I pull all of the lighting off the tracks and 2 more spot literally fell apart in my hands. It is thick. It is sticky. It is not a good product other than that. Tis trash my friends.

What more can you ask for? Connected these to a gobee RGB controller and then to my HUE system. Nice and bright and the strip adhesive is very strong.
