Great product
Installation was easy, quality of product good, however, very overpriced for what it is.

Excellent conversion
I bought this to convert my camper trailer to a more manageable cord. Pulling the cored in and out the little hole has its moments. This kit came with everything you need to convert to an external cord. There are several cover plates to choose from. It had one that matched to the big hole I had and accommodated to the rest of the installation. The instructions were easy to follow. It is a bit pricey and you will need to buy some silicone to seal cover plate to side of trailer.

Works as it should but…
Worked fine, easy instal. But, this set up is not worth the price tag just to cover a hole to change out the power inlet. If I had a stamp cutter I’d cut these covers out and charge $20. Kind of ridiculous to have to buy this kit just to convert the inlet adapter. Anyway, does it work yes.

Also a good option to replace an existing damaged plug and cord. without buying separate items.
Other than one missing screw, worked as needed.

Excellent, but could be easier
This is an excellent, high quality product from Marinco. However, the instructions for it SUCK! The tiny, black & white images are virtually useless, and the text is almost as bad. I sought clarity on the Marinco website, only to find the product is not even listed, nevermind clearer instructions. After connecting and removing the wires twice, I finally got all the right pieces onto the cable in the right order, and managed to get the rear safety enclosure alined such that the tabs would mate to the inlet. One clear photo would be worth 1,000 words.Installation would be greatly clarified if --a) it were marketed as 3 separate products, with fewer parts in each, also making each product less expensive.b) more detailed instructions were provided, with larger, clearer, color photographs, or even an assembly video. An arrow for aligning the rear safety enclosure would be especially helpful.Installing my mouse hole replacement while squatting and leaning over in 95-degree sun was not fun. Also, Amazon, why do you list this 30A product for $74.20 (List 110.98), and then offer the 50A version 3 items down, for $168.36 (List 191.30), over TWICE as much. Really?

Worked exactly as expected
I purchased this to convert my 30 amp travel trailer shore power cable to something I can disconnect from the camper. I decided to do this because my cable was getting twisted up inside the compartment that it winds up in the travel trailer. Sometime I'd pull the cable out and it would not come all the way out. The other benefit is that frequently it will have rained during a camping trip and my cable would be wet and dirty and I was wiping it off with multiple paper towels trying to feed it back into the side of the travel trailer. Now I just coil the cable up and put it in the back of my truck to clean when I get home when I have more time. The only thing I wish was different about the conversion kit is that I wish it came in black. I painted the white parts black so that it would match all the other covers and trim on my travel trailer. I didn't end up needing to use the metal junction box. My travel trailer is a 2018 Keystone Cougar Half-Ton 29BHS.

Must have for campers!
Product showed up used, or at the very least, opened. Instructions and screws were missing, from cover had a few scratches, box was damaged and had been opened as the tape was cut.A few spare screws I had laying around and I was in business. There are a couple YouTube videos that were very helpful. With or without instructions, I would suggest watching at least one.Fairly straight forward install, rock solid once everything is screwed down. I would also suggest buying Dicor Butyl Tape along with this, as it seals much better than silicone, and it more forgiving. Take your time cleaning and prepping the mounting location and everything will be solid and water tight for years to come! No more wasps, ants, or mice in my camper!Would have been 5 stars if not for the packaging and missing screws.

One small problem
I purchased a Park Power kit. The kit was complete with many mounting options, bezels, fasteners, gaskets for several different adaptations, including decent instructions. I did however run into a problem with connecting the newly installed female end, (cable end) onto the male receptacle. No matter what I did, they would not mate up. Went to Home Depot and purchased some 30A male & female replacement ends to use as a comparison / troubleshooting tool. The problem was immediately evident. In my first picture, the Park Power plug has the two curved slots reversed. The top slot is not as long as the left most slot. The second picture is the store bought showing the correct size slots. The fix was simple. I used my Dremel tool to widen the slot. See picture 3. I had to remove about a mm or so of material in both directions. Now the cable fits perfectly. All in all, this a very good solution for the stuffing the cable back in irritation that came standard on my trailer. Even though I had this problem I would recommend this product.
