Q: Does this 3rd brake light come with wiring / connectors attached and bulbs?

Q: Original part 8l34-13a613-aa work on a -05 f150? any idea what the aa and the b mean on these things? i don't want to touch wiring at all!

I installed on my 2004; fit proper. Not sure on "aa" versus "b" model. I think they put a better gasket on the newer version. The original shrunk quickly and leaked. Did not plan to replace the harness. My bulb holders on old harness were brittle, so used the new harness that came with it. That was biggest hassle. Removed one headliner plastic pin after much twisting and pulling, it broke. Was difficult to get arm above headliner to reach connector but finally got it installed. Could not find exact plastic headliner pin anywhere on internet. Bought a box of ford van version that almost matched the gray color but stems are too short. Cut two with Dremel and melted two stems into one so long enough to work. If you don't need to replace harness, it will be a 10 minute job and will fit with no issues.

No need to hardwire with existing connectors, but yes, a wiring diagram is available.
