Westcoast Thera-Paw Padded - Size TB, Supportive & Protective Boot For Painful Or Injured Paws, Veterinary Dog Boots

I ordered this for our dog who is recovering from a fractured toe. Unfortunately it wasn't suitable for her as she was dragging her foot trying to get it off as soon as we put it on and she was at risk of damaging her toe further so we couldn't risk using it and had to return it. However, the product itself is fantastic. The fit was perfect and in the short while our dog had it on she didn't manage to get it off despite her determined attempts! The quality is also excellent, very durable with strong velcro fastenings. If it was for a paw injury such as a corn or a cut pad I think this would be absolutely perfect and would definitely order it again if ever needed.

This seems a very robust product but it is very close fitting, and despite measuring the paws very carefully they are too small (size TF). I have a tall, 39kg doberman with front paw problems, and I cannot get this boot on her. I will exchange for the next size up but fear they may be too large. I have also purchased the VetDry waterproof boot from Westcoast and these are really excellent - easy to put on, robust and they provide quite a bit of protection, although probably not as tough as this Therapaw boot. Delivery was very good.

These were for a little pug that has spondylitis down his spine so drags his hind paws - unfortunately they did not stay on his paws at all so they were returned. They were beautifully made and well packed- they were even picked up by courier - would not fault them only sorry they weren't suitable for this dog.

I bought four of shoes for my dog to try prevent him from licking his paws. Within two minutes he had one of them off. Over the course of the week we are using them the velcro has become less effective and he now manages to get the four shoes off in no time.

I got these for my dog who has a spinal injury so drags her back paws. I've tried other shoes but they wear out within in a couple of days. I've now had these a few weeks, she wears them every day for 2short walks a day and they're still fully intact, just a little wear which is brilliant. Hadn't realized at first you only get one so had to order another and even though a bit expensive they're cheaper in long run because the others I was buying had to be replaced every few weeks.

Naaa, it doesn't stay on. The dog died, not because of this boot, because it had bone cancer in its paw and leg bone. However, this thing did nothing to help, as the dog pulled it straight off, and ripped all of it's skin off, and have of the tumour. Gross.....

Do not hesitate. It’s saved our whippet’s paws.

Sorry did not fit well and my dog had them off in less than ten seconds! That said the product was of good quality and I'm sure if you take the dog to get the right size they would be ok
