This A Joke?
No. jokes are funny, this product is just pathetically ineffectual and had become beyond useless BEFORE my cat had a go at scratching the couch!i was less than blown away when i first took the sheets out of their packaging (after the age it took to get here), and again when the attaching pins the product page stated we would not need (or want in the slightest) fell out. i had bought two packs - i have two couches, so figured this would cover our needs regards the front panels and sides of both. hmmm. my wife agreed with my initial reaction and said they look like cheap garbage, what a waste of money. at this, of course i sided with the product and said that we'll really have to give it a chance - despite appearance, it may be the answer to our cat scratching issues. so we attached sheets to one front panel and also the adjacent side of one couch. the cat didn't go near to scratching the couch, but this was due to not being able to get near it, because we were constantly re-sticking the sheets or flattening unstuck areas of this. this was particularly vexing as we had taken great care in applying the sheets as per the product page (the packets contained no instructions!). unimpressed, we resolved to leave things overnight, and take things from there.of course, next morning, after i had got over the puzzlement of what could be sticking to my foot, we found that one sheet was still attached, so i binned the sheet with the footprint on it, leaving the other attached, and left for work. "not long" was my wife's response to my query of how long the remaining sheet had remained adhered. we felt there was little point in attaching more sheets, as it was now crystal clear that they were of no use to us at all. as stated earlier, a total waste of money and time! even more alarmingly, i notice an almost £4 hike in the cost since we purchased!unsurprisingly, the cat gives the product five stars!

easy to apply, holds well
For the most part I've bought furniture cat protector to save our doors. We live in a rented apartment and my cats always sneak up the doors and scratch their tops when I'm not looking. I cut the protector sheets into long strips and covered every door top with it. Ever since I did this, cats only sit on top of doors and no longer scratch them. They tried a few times, but the protector held up.Previously to this I tried ducktaping foil to tops of the doors, as I've heard that cats don't like the crinklyness of foil. Well it took them one day to reverse my work. So points to the protector for lasting :)

Looks good, may not be effective for all cats.
This product looks and feels great when attached to the sofa. However, we have not found it to be an effective deterrent for our cat by itself. We have had to attach double sided tape on top of it. This has worked so that the tape doesn’t damage the sofa.

Ok I guess...
They are ok , but soon lose their adhesion when the cats have a go. These pictures are a few days after applying them so I will let you make your mind up.

Lost it’s stick
It began loosing its adhesive about a week after we put it on the couch now it flaps off daily and will probably be in the bin pretty soon. Only been on the couch a month. Very temporary solution.
