Does the job well

for my application i needed to remove the rubber feet. while scrubbing the old glue off with a green scrubby the plating rubbed off reveling a copper colored metal underneath. not stainless steel that was stated in the add.

We have had a hard time finding a doorstop that is tall enough to keep our back door open. We have quite a bit of wind here and I like having both the front and back door open at the same time, so having a doorstop that is strong enough to hold the door open is a must.

These door stops are good quality. I don't care much for them because of the spring tension. It sounds silly perhaps but I find them "unpleasant" to use. Too rough on the bare feet, and too loud when it springs up, for my sensitive ears. Otherwise they're great and keep the doors from moving and I don't have to have anything on the floor in the way of the vacuum etc. to accomplish this.

Love the great concept design and quality. My door was cut to clear a rug so standard and large door stops were too short. I used a shoe to prop it open for a year and got tired of dragging it out when I found this door stop. It's compact, looks great and pretty easy to use with one foot to open or close it. Just make sure to install it so the door will close and not right on the edge. I have magnetic door stops on other doors, but they are pretty strong and it takes some force to close the door.

We got the two pack. Installed one and the spring inside would pull it back up just a little bit each time we pushed it down. This made it useless in our situation as it would not hold the door up.We used the other one and it worked, BUT I am sure there are better solutions out there. This one looks nice, but when you release it by pushing the button it is so so loud smacking metal on metal. Since we have this on our bedroom door its frustrating since we are releasing it at night when the kids are sleeping. So I have to bend down and do use both hands so that it wont be super loud, which defeats the purpose of this design.Also we only got one set of screws, very annoying.would not recommend, though the one we have installed does work.Just looked to see if we could get a refund, or a replacement for the one that doesn't work and it was past the 30 days.
