Classic Rock Instrumental Solos: Tenor Saxophone: Level 2-3 (Pop Instrumental Solo Series)

Good for Beginners or Intermediates or Shut-ins
The pros: nice accompaniment cd, a few decent songs notated to chorus that are fun to play, good for beginners to learn timing and enjoy playing along with a “group”.The cons: none of the songs feature the killer solos that many of these songs are famous for, some songs can feel pretty drone-like (single note repetitive).Overall decent book to go through quickly and cd accompaniment is not bad. I prefer the jazz book for a little more challenge and variety.

Just Great
These songs are amazing and the included CD is really helpful for beginners like me who haven't had too much experience with their saxophone yet. By the yay I suggest starting out with stairway to heaven or hotel California since they are not only great songs but also pretty easy to get the hang of.

Fun book to play along with
My son is in between music groups so I bought this for him to keep his chops up. The musical arrangements are fun and relatively easy for my son to follow. He's an intermediate player (14 yrs old). Having a CD accompaniment makes it more interesting and easy to follow.

On the other hand a couple of them were really good. I hope there are more of them published ...
It was OK just simplistic. Some of the backgrounds and a few of the melodies were rather elementary. On the other hand a couple of them were really good. I hope there are more of them published but with better selections.

Fantástico para no tocar solo.
Los audios coinciden con las partituras. Parece lógico pero a veces no es así.
