Awesome product!
Nice job Rukket! This is a fantastic product. Sets up in seconds and folds down just as quickly. It provides a ton of coverage for an amateur golfer like myself. (I don't consistently hit the ball right up the middle) Both the net itself and the carry case are very durable. I love the fact that I can practice with real golf balls! This is very compact and easily fits into tiny sports car or for storage in closet. Best part of all is no there are no poles to deal with. I can easily setup and take down without any assistance. Disregard the reviews that state it's a challenge to fold up and get back into the case. I simply watched a YouTube video and followed the provided instructions and was able to get this folded up on my first try without any issues. It seems a bit pricey but well worth it. I look forward to trying out other Rukket products.

Great net but it has it's quirks.
I've had my RUKKNET for about a month now and for the most part I am well pleased with the purchase. Folding it up is a snap if you follow the instructions. I tried to do it without looking at the instructions the first time and the thing fought me tooth and nail. Once I looked at the pictures that are sewn into the carrying case, it became a breeze. On the other hand, setting it up is not quite so easy. The impression I got when researching the product was that once you opened it up, the net just springs/pops up into existence and you're ready to bomb golf balls into it (kind of like those window shades you use for your car's windshield). Maybe if you're 6' tall that works, but if you're a smaller person like me (5'6") you're going to struggle a bit more. You're not tall enough to reach the top easily or both sides at the same time so you have to set it up one side at a time. As you can see in the picture, the sides need to slope out to brace the net. They don't magically spring out that way, you have to push them out. Problem is, the thing is so wiry/springy, that by the time you get to the second side to push it out, the weight of the net has collapsed the first side you just left. It becomes a dance of timing and a balancing act (and a few colorful words, LOL). However, once up, it's a great net to hit into. The capture net seems sturdy and should last awhile. It absorbs the energy of the ball quite well. As for the ball return part - well, maybe if it's set up on concrete that works, but my experience of hitting off the patio into it set up in the grass, is that the balls just drop straight down. They don't come rolling back out to you. Of course, I've just got it sitting there untethered. Perhaps if I used the stakes that are provided to stake it down tightly so the net is more taut, then maybe that would happen. But then, that defeats the purpose of having something that you can put up and take down quickly. I've also noted that the center of gravity of the net seems to be a bit forward. If you set up it up on a surface which does not allow you to stake it down (e.g. driveway) and the net slopes towards the front of the net, even slightly, you can collapse the net by hitting balls into it. Been there, done that. :o)

Works as well as advertised
First off the good - it opens up and is ready to go in less than 30 seconds! It really is easy to unwrap from the bag and be ready to go quickly. If you are in a little bit of a windy spot you will want to spike it down with the provided 4 metal spikes for the corners, and there are also 2 yellow spikes for additional support. Taking it down is pretty simple as well once you get the hang of it. The first day I tried to put it away I struggled for quite a while to get it right. My wife finally figured out that you just need to let the net do the work of coiling itself into position - don't force it. If you have to force it you haven't done it right. When done right, it folds up and is back in the back in maybe 2 min tops. The bad - when it's windy this thing folds over quite easily. Even when I have it spiked down, the spikes aren't strong enough to hold it in place against a semi stiff breeze, and it ends up pushing the top part over anyway. It's a bit frustrating to use on a windy day because you'll be constantly trying to set it back upright. If you can, use it indoors or a garage for best results.

4.5 Stars??? Reviews must be by company employees and Friends!?
I bought the Rukk Net after reading the positive reviews given the 4.5 star ranking. I spend a significant amount of money on amazon and 99.9% of the time the reviews are pretty accurate when there is a large pool of reviewers. This is the exception now that i have bought one of these and returned for new one thinking there was a defect. As the reviews have said, it's very simple to unfold and the netting seems well made. The problem lies in the quality of construction and design of the metal railing that supports the net. I followed the instruction label on the product itself and following the one on you tube video very carefully. When you try to tuck in one side of the railing which basically curls, the other side will not curl and basically straightens to a flat bar and metal is twisted. This makes it impossible to tuck into the circle, leaving you nothing do do with it in it's large state. I've tirelessly tried multiple times with both units without any success. Actually, one of the metal poles actually snapped in half which gives you an idea of the quality of the cheap material. It took me a solid hour to finally find a way to get the original one back in a form that I was able to ship. I addressed this with the company via email and only got one response which said Amazon handles their returns. I then had to take the large box to the UPS to be returned. I'm going through the exact same process with 2nd unit with no response from the seller. I sent them an email and called direct only to get that one response. I have linked a short video and will also be posting a more extended youtube review which i will link once set up. I would save the time and frustration by looking for alternative because these reviews are flawed! I'm going to give the The ProReturn Net X2 at try which looks very similar and a fraction of the cost.

A little tricky but worth it...
The net is perfect to practice your swing. No issues at all with any club in your bag. Short irons you need to come in a little closer but can take full swings with follow thru. Very good quality and no worries on tearing this net. 4ply is really stong. The ball return works perfect on hard surfaces, if you take it out in the yard the ball just falls down to bottom of the net. Grab like 5-10 old golf balls and swing away. I thought the net came with a mat but doesn't so get one you'll need it. Now the big question... The set up and put away process: Setting up take less than a min. You dont need any stakes unless its really windy. I was crushing my driver and the net barely moves at all so no worries. Solid wind outside and I wasnt worried at all using it. They give you stakes and some rope. Pointless really. Now taking it down was a pain a couple times. Nothing to crazy but you have to get a feel for how it folds up. First couple times I took it down no problem. Then a couple times I had to adjust the net while folding. Watch their videos it helps. But after those couple times I fold it up in a couple mins or less. Overall its a great product, works perfectly and would recommend to any golfers.

Wrestling with Rukknet
What happened: I received my Rukket in the mail today pretty excited because this net will fill an important gap in my ability to improve my swing. Unpacked it in the middle of the living room and it expanded out as expected (I had watched the Youtube videos). I then tried to repacked it for storage. What followed was a nightmare - I twisted the steel hoop. It took me 30-40 of dripping sweat effort to figure out how to get the twist out. Finally, I think what did it was to turn it over (top side facing down) and attempted to fold it up as normal. I think that reversed what I did in the first place to twist the hoop. I leave it to your imagination to envision my frustration. I did notice that there was a ball of red thread in the bag and that there seemed to be a gap in the sewing at the base of the net. I've not yet decided on what to do. I suspect I'll try to send it back - for this amount of money, I won't accept manufacturing defects. Thoughts, Feelings, and Opinions Now that the emotional stuff is out of the way, I think the product has great potential. It's intended design and function is excellent. The only problem I see is that it is extremely easy to twist the steel hoop and very difficult to correct. I tried serveral times to run my fingers around the hoop and determine which way to untwist it - but that didn't work. I don't except products like these to be perfect, but the seller has to do a better job with instructions. No, I'm not talking about the instructions when the product performs as expected, I'm referring to when things go wrong. There is a YouTube video ([...]) that refers to the twisting and how to correct it - go and look at it - to say it is poorly done is an understatement. So Rukknet, why do you spend a little time on videoing how to untwist this beast... I'll give it two stars for now. We'll see how Rukknet responds. I called their number and left a message. Update Rukknet returned my call. The sewing gap at the base is by design. I'll up a star...

Very high quality Net
I also have the SKLZ 8x8 net and I love that net. I had a company install an Outdoor putting/chipping green in my backyard. I needed a Pop-up net that I can deploy and stow very quickly and set it on the putting green so we could practice our Flop shots without fear of the ball breaking windows on mishits. That is where this comes in. PROS: 1. It is so simple to deploy this. Take it out from the very well made case and throw it on the ground. Then just stand it up. It is that easy. 2. The take down and stowing took some time to understand, but once I figured it out, I could fold this in less than 30 seconds. There are guides on the net itself so it will remind you where to fold. 3. It really worked really well. I can gather all the balls quickly after hitting them. 4. Very high quality. This net looks and feels durable. After hitting more than a thousand balls on this shows it is well made. CONS: 1. There is a learning curve for folding it. I got frustrated at first, but I figured out how it works after really reading the instructions. Now I can do it very quickly. SUMMARY: If you are after a portable, easily packed away, high quality Net, then this Net is the one I have tried that works.

Like the product, but hate folding it back up!
I like this product. It really helps me practice my swing. It is wide enough to catch all balls and even some slightly stray shots. It is sturdy and welI made. If there is wind I would suggest staking it down with the plastic stakes that come with the product. I gave this two stars simply because it is a PAIN IN THE BUTT to fold back up. The first time went well, but each time after, I've spent at least a half an hour trying to get it folded properly. The problem is in the wire frame. It's as if it gets easily twisted and then it won't fold. I hate that aspect of it. The ad said it would be easy to put up and take down. They got the first part right; it's easy to put up, but incredibly hard to fold back up. Disappointed in the product for that aspect, and it deters me from wanting to use it.

Excellent, east to use Golf Aid
I found the net so simple to use, both erecting and folding, that I can’t understand how it gets negative reviews. In the hope that my wife does not read this even she manages to do it with ease and she’s 4’ 11” and 45kgs! It’s simplicity personified. My garden is small so I use it in the garage and it’s great, cat he’s all shots from sand wedge to driver with no problem . It wasn’t cheap to get it here in Perth but it’s well worth it. Would recommend this product wholeheartedly.

An excellent product
This is a fantastic net, It goes up and comes down in less than a minute. The quality of the webbing is also great. I had a Callaway that wore to the point that a ball went through it after only 5 months. When I compare the Rukkett webbing it appears to be 2 to 3 times thicker and it's also easily replaceable if it does wear out so you don't have to buy a whole new net. The chipping attachment is also very helpful and easy to attach. I would describe the product as sturdy, innovative and user friendly, It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for..just ask my garage wall. If you want a net for golf practice look at this one closely.

This does not work.
Do not buy this item. I don't understand why it has positive reviews. Firstly doesn't pop up quickly but most importantly - even with cords fixing it to the ground it only take a small bump to collapse while you are using. Waste of time and money.

Super product.
Excellent service and product. Only 1 small issue that it didn't come with a small hitting mat as advertised.
