Wax Dots Candle Adapter (Set of 30)

The media could not be loaded. We used to sell these wax adapters at my parents candle shop 30 years ago...they work as well today as they did back then. They hold my tapers upright in my candlestick holder. If you've got wobbly tapers - get these!

I used these at my wedding. I had bought a variety of candlesticks holders at thrift stores, painted them gold, and stuck candles in them. The only problem with random candle stick holders is that candles didn't always for quite right. Some candles needed shaved off a little, others wobbled bc the candle was too small for the holder. Enter these fabulous little globs. They worked perfectly. Stuck them in the bottom of the candlestick holder and it held well! My mom cleaned this stuff out of the holders later, so I'm not sure exactly how she managed, but I think between hot water and putting them in the oven for a little, it all came out.

I bought it many many years ago to keep candles in place. I've kept it on hand now for everything - it keeps everything in place. I seldom hang a picture straight, so a little of this at the base (where you can't see it of course) will make it stay straight. that's just one example... and it scraps off easily unlike alien tape which you can never get off.

The dots are definitely stiffer than others I've used in the past; however, for the first time in 20 years I have not had to readjust my candles at all since I inserted them in early October. Would highly recommend them.

I have furniture that has decorative wood plugs that cover the nail hole part and they would not stay in. So, a little dab of wax on base of wood plug and it stays in nicely. You can still remove the plug and then get to screw if you have to disassemble the furniture to tie up to move it. The wax will scrape off if need to remove it from item it was touching. The was also works nicely to keep a tapered candle from tipping over, falling out, of holder.

These are designed to fit a standard tier candle, but they can be cut or combined to be used for different size candles. I cut the dot in quarters to accommodate candles for a small menorah. I used three on the bottom of a larger candle to secure it in position in an arrangement. The substance is very easy to mold into place. It stays put, but removes easily without leaving a residue.

These are perfect for securing Hanukkah candles in a menorah.

Literally work amazingly! I bought for the candles at my wedding as the candlestick holders are a little loose & the taper candles stand perfectly (no leaning) with these dots.
