I like this brand but this flavor was not for me but it was a good treat for everyone I shared with I just personally didn't like the salty plum in the middle

Sweet, salty ume flavor โ great!
What a find. How the Japanese are able to capture that salty plum (umeboshi) flavor along with the sweet is amazing.

sweet shell, salty and savory middle. not as strong as other ume plum candies, but have a great flavor nonetheless.

Used to be the BEST, but the recipe has changed.
I have bought this candy many times and loved the amount of chewy ume that was in the center. However, starting around a year ago they drastically reduced the amount of ume in the center to where itโs basically nonexistent. I wonโt be purchasing this anymore, which sucks because it used to be my favorite ume candy.
