I bought this to make journals and I must say that given some of the reviews calling this stuff flimsy, I don't know what they received but the product I received was very sturdy! It is every bit as sturdy as you would have from a tablet backing and for journals, you really don't want it much thicker than this.Love it so much that I bought more before the price goes up!

I bought these a few years ago and when they arrived, the cardboard stunk like vomit. I'm not kidding. I've tried airing them out, spraying with cologne...nothing works. I had to go with another brand.. throwing these out for sure.

Great for making memory books. I used the chipboard for the back and front covers.

Suggested uses included “scrapbook/journal” covers, which is exactly what I was looking for. But, at 30 pt., this product is way too flimsy for a cover. Still, a decent product for use inside the books - perhaps for pocket page or as dividers. No doubt I will use them, but disappointed that I’ll need to order something else for my covers.

I ordered because I wanted 30 pt chipboard, however it is thin and bends easily. This product is not sturdy as a stand alone product for anyone wanting to use this for journal making.
