After my purchase in 2016 these poles have served wonderfully over 130 miles of section hiking on the Ouachita Trail in Arkansas. Numerous falls avoided, particularly during stream crossings, surefootedness over the rockiest of terrains, and a discoverer of leg breaking holes on the trail. The FlickLocks have been durable for me with no issues. Love their adjustability on the fly. Usually shorten them a little on the fly on the up hill sections and lengthen them on the fly on the downhill portions. Had never hiked with trekking poles before. Now would never hike without them. Well worth the money considering what they have saved me in pain , agony and medical bills.

I bought some new hiking poles for a High Sierra Trail hike this past week and these tips came on the poles with an extra set of carbide tips. I used the same plastic tips the 7 days/70+miles and by he end they were worn down to nubs, but I feel they did much better sticking to rocks than the carbide would have done. I would say 50 miles is pretty accurate for wear life. I just bought two new pairs for my brother and I, his tips are equally worn. I can see how replacing these every 50 miles could add up for some, but I don't usually use poles so I don't mind.

Extremely happy with these tips. Used hiking poles for the 1st time on a trip to Zion Nat'l Park, and was so happy to have the rubber tips hiking on rocks and trails with loose sandy gravel. My husband had metal tips and was disappointed he hadn't purchased these for his poles. They stood up to about 30 miles of hiking over 4 days and are still in great shape.

These were confusing to order. Apparently there are two kinds of tips, and you have to get the correct ones, but it wasn't obvious to me which ones were correct. It seems like they should just come with the walking poles and avoid the confusion.

Great replacement for the hard tips which come with my Black Diamond Ergo Corks trekking poles. I do lots of hiking on the very rocky Appalachian near my home in northeastern Pennsylvania. They grip the rocks better and make lots less noise.

I am very impressed with these, they are small and I was concerned that they wouldn't hold up, but they have been great so far. They are a bit interesting to install, and I wouldn't want to change them on the trail, but they might last long enough to not be an issue.

Great for gravel or pavement use easy to put on and take off but very secure highly recommend

Die vorher ian den Stöcken angebrachten Karbit Spitzen lassen sich problemslos gegen die Black Diamond Z-Pole Rubber Tips Gummispitzen austauschen. Einmal fest gedreht sitzen diese fest an den Stöcken. Gerade beim Einsatz auf hartem Untergrund (Pflaster, Asphat...) hat man ein wesentlich besseres Laufgefühl und weniger störende Geräusche, Empfindlicher Untergrund wir geschont.
