Hammers Rubber Tips End Caps Trekking Pole Hiking Stick

I have MS, which affects my balance and walking. I use a Jobar International Antishock Hiking stick rather than a cane because it helps me keep my balance better. One day the bottom of the original tip just suddenly fell off leaving a metal screw exposed and making it impossible for me to use the stick on indoor floors. I was desperate to find a replacement tip as quickly as possible. An Internet led me to Amazon and these replacement tips. Even though they were for a different brand hiking pole, they fit my Jobar perfectly. (I could not find ANY replacements offered by Jobar.) I took the advice given in another customer review and ordered several packages to save on the shipping and to have them on-hand should these wear out like the original one. Not only do the tips fit perfectly, but they arrived in less than a week's time. I'm extremely satisfied.

New tips for hiking sticks, much less expensive than OEM replacements. We'll see how long the last...

The best thing to say about these tip end caps is that they work! The tip on my spouse's trekking pole had worn out and he tries to walk the neighborhood (lots of hills) every day it is 40 degrees or higher. So glad to be able to replace the worn-out tip with this one and can keep on trekking!!

I purchased these as replacements for a pair of Hikker aluminum telescoping walking sticks. They are visually indistinguishable from the original tips, and have a metal insert in the bottom to keep the hardened steel tip of the walking stick from punching through the bottom of these rubber tips. Their inner diameter is 3/8", which would have been reassuring to know when I was ordering.I ordered them yesterday afternoon, December 23rd, and they arrived at my house this morning. I had used the free Amazon Prime two-day shipping so I'm not sure how they managed that but they must have thrown in overnight shipping on the house or something.They were sold by BIGFLYSPORTS and fulfilled by Amazon.

The tips are for my wife's cane. She uses Leki canes and since the price of these tips is considerably less than the Leki brand I figured I'd get them for her to try. Once I rec'd the tips and saw the exact shape of the bottom I realized that these tips were largely designed to go over a spike end. There is a slight nipple and the rubber is hard. The hardness is the problem for my wife. It doesn't grip or provide traction. I roughed it up hoping that would help but it didn't. So for our pusposes it's no better than 3 stars; however, to protect a spike and/or protect the surface from a spike it probably does a great job.

I bought these to replace the tip on my Opteka CM200 carbon fiber monopod/walking stick. It fits perfectly and is greatly better than the original tip that wore out in less than a year. Just taking them out of the bag I could tell they were of much better quality. Be sure to measure the end of your walking stick before ordering; these are 12mm, but they fit snugly and will not creep off during your walks.

My info, when I bought an off brand pair of walking sticks, did not advise you could not find replacement tips when you wore them out! It took some searching, but I was so fortunate to find these on Amazon and they fit my 2 sticks! The picture is how I id'ed them as the same size and shape. I know now, the hard way, not to use them on hard surfaces. I walk in the school's dirt ball field and they are holding up well. I would order again, if and when these wear out!!

Great price for these! And when I checked them after they arrived, they do have a metal insert for added protection. A set that I gave to a client needed to have the pole tip taped with hockey/fabric tape because the hole on the replacement tips was too large, therefore too loose. This worked extremely well. I still have not seen whether they wear well after a lot of use. This client walks about 50,000 steps a week with her walking poles. I prefer a heavy-duty set. These work fine for those who walk less than 5 miles a week with poles.

Indistinguishable from the original tips that came on my McKinley Mountain Range poles. They have the metal insert inside that prevents the metal tip from going through the end. Exactly what I was looking for

The walking stick/monopod had a rubber tip but the metal end was through the end within a couple of days making it useless. As these have a metal insert the pole doesn't force it's way through the end. Obviously you get wear as you use the stick but I can see these lasting an awful lot longer than the original. Well worth your money.
