Perfect
This went everywhere with us on our adventures. It’s thin and light to throw in a backpack and laminated for any kind of Costa Rican weather.

Excellent wildlife guide
Loved having this guide for our trip to Costa Rica! My daughter thought that it was great that she could look through it and find what we were seeing.

Heavy duty pamphlet that will hold up to the weather changes in Costa Rica
Wondrful brochure about the wildlife in Costa Rica. It's the perfect size to carry in a backpack for a hike. Thick paper and laminating. I didn't worry about it when we were trecking thorough a National Park and it started raining.

Very helpful guide
This convenient guide was very useful on a recent trip to Costa Rica. While it doesn't cover the more rare species, we saw fairly few that weren't on it.

Did not include owls of CR
Great little guide, but they left out the owls of CR.

Fun for identifying animals
We stayed in a rainforest home in Costa Rica for a month. This was so much fun for the whole group-3 generations—to use to identify animals, butterflies and mothers, and frogs. Having the size listed was helpful, especially at first as we had three different types of monkeys in our trees.

Great Item to Have!
I recently visited Costa Rica đŸ‡¨đŸ‡· for the first time and found this laminated list of Costa Rican wildlife to be helpful when trying to identify the animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects we saw. Obviously, this is not a comprehensive list of the biodiversity in Costa Rica, but it is a nice little compilation of the wildlife a visitor will likely see, depending on the region being visited. I used this in conjunction with a travel guide that I purchased prior to my trip.
