So beautiful
Absolutely gorgeous book. This was a gift for a friend, but even I was impressed with it! We both sat and looked through every page. It's full of extremely useful information and is beautifully put together. If you have an interest in textiles, this is definitely for you.

Beautiful, informative, but not perfect
A lot of work went obviously into this book: the graphic design is beautiful, the content is clearly and logically arranged and there's a lot of information on fibers, fabrics, leather and manufacturing processes. I work with fabrics, I know a lot about fabrics and still I found new things in this book. However, there are errors in this book that might be confusing for someone who doesn't know anything about fibers and fabrics: the book needs another round of proofreading. There's silvers instead of slivers, warp knitting confused with weft in chapter 4.2, yards with meters. In the chapter about leather, the pictures of calf and cattle are swapped and where should be a picture of lamb, there's a cow. It's a bit annoying, considering how much work was put into this book by the authors and the designers. That said, I like the book and I would recommend it to all textile enthusiasts.

I love this book like it was my child
Not only is this book full of useful information, it is so beautifully presented both inside and out that it's almost painful. Don't do yourself a disservice by buying the electronic version, buy the hardback and just sit in amazement at how wonderful this book is, you won't regret it at all. Inspiration for DAYS in these pages, one of the best things I have bought for myself.

This book is awesome if you love all things textiles. I got it in search of trying to understand materials with sewing. I want to find some soft medium weight fabrics for a dress. This is going to be a huge reference for me making garments. Its even got added information on production and processings of fabrics. Quite interesting.

Incredible. I am honestly lost in my words. It explains SO MUCH- if not everything related to fabric. From the materials to how they are processed to the implications each fabric has. I am just in love this is incredible. It is my treasure. I needs every book of them.
