Fisual Mini Toslink to Standard Toslink Optical Cable- Pro Install Series 5m (suitable for MacBook, MacBook Pro or recent iMac or Mac Mini)

Bought this to link a Chromecast Audio device, which has a mini TosLink / 3.5mm aux socket, to my Denon RCD-M39DAB system, with standard optical input. Much cheaper and far better looking than the Chromecast alternative and works just as well. Cable comes boxed with end caps protected. Casting Internet radio within minutes.

I bought this to connect a Chromecast Audio to my amplifier.Unlike analogue cables, an optical/digital cable either works or it does not. There is little point spending lots of money on a "superior" cable. I don't intend plugging and unplugging it so I do not see durability as a problem. This works, was reasonably priced, so 5 stars and recommended.

Good quality optical/Toslink cable, plenty of insulation, feels sturdy. Not much more to say considering it's a digital optical signal and it will either get there or it won't, but the cable overall is certainly well-made and built to last. I purchased this for a set of Turtle Beach headphones that use this connection, but the one they supplied was way too short.Also worth noting that the 3.5mm jack on one end is an optical jack and although it looks like an analogue 3.5mm stereo jack that you might find on laptops, ipods and other smaller audio devices, this is not the same thing at all and I think some people have purchased these trying to get a 3.5mm analogue stereo signal to go to the optical input on their amp or receiver - this won't do that and I'm pretty sure you can't get a cable to go from analogue audio to optical/Toslink (although you can get one to do the reverse).

I purchased the 3m version because my old 1m cable was a bit too short.After I started using it, I would hear a beep once or twice every 30 seconds or so in my headphones. I know straight away the optical signals were not being transferred properly.The plugs were inserted properly. Used my old cable to double check. No beeping in my old cables.So just returned it.

At the value end of the market I have found Fisual to be better than most. The cable works well and doesn't keep falling out of the socket as my previous one did.

2nd purchase of the same cable. Uses scientific grade optical plastic. Have this as a link from my mid 2011 iMac to my Denon RCD-DM40DAB and the sound is excellent in punch and clarity. Don't forget your iMacs 3.5 mm jack is also an optical out hence the audio looking one end of the cable.

The cable is well built, feels quite sturdy and has a positive 'click' when inserted. Not too stiff and not too loose, it's just right. Aesthetically, the cable looks nice with a glossy finish on the connectors and a silky sheen on the cable sleeve.Overall then, it's a great optical cable at a fair price. Can't be faulted.

I always buy Fisual cables when possible. They are extremely well made with a good quality finish. And they are great value.

Ein MacBook Pro über den eingebauten optischen Klinkenausgang damit direkt (ohne zusätzliche Adapter) angeschlossen an einen hochwertigen Wandler läuft aussetzerfrei und erstaunlicherweise auch ohne erkennbare klangliche Abstriche (verglichen mit einem Anschluss des Rechners über Firewire), wobei hier sicher auch die (in diesem Fall zweistufige) Clocking-Technologie des Wandlers bzgl. der Jitter-Thematik eine gewisse Rolle spielt.Sieht gut aus und klingt gut.

Funciona muy bien con un MacBook 13" mid 2010. No es necesario comprarse el cable específico para estos portátiles. La calidad del sonido es sublime con el cable conectado.

Perfecto, cable optico muy largo que cumple a la perfección, los habra de mejor calidad pero este es calidad precio de lo mejor que he visto

Funciona correctamente incluso conectado a un selector y a otro cable a continuación, cosa que mi anterior cable de 10m no hacía.

Cierto es que hay cables que rinden mayor nitidez, pero un cable de este tipo de 10 metros y a este precio, difícil de encontrar.Si no te quieres gastar mucho y obtener un cable más que correcto, no lo dudes.

He comprado este cable para conectar mi macbook pro 2009 a un amplificador .La calidad es bastante buena a este precio.Le doy 4 estrellas porque el mini Toslink no entra del todo bien en el conector jack de mi Macbook pro.

Da lo que se espera de él. Calidad de sonido digital, sin sorpresas, todo encaja como debe. Es una buena compra.
