281 Tube Top Clear Protective Weather Dome Made from UV Stabilized Polycarbonate, 12 inch Diameter

Trying to save some money, I tried a metal cover but it caught the wind and flipped the whole feeder off the hook. This is what I wanted in the first place - light, clear, protects feeder and birds from inclement weather. I did have to rework the plastic hanger on the feeder because it wouldn't fit comfortably through the opening on the clear dome. Despite the adjustment needed, this is what I was looking for and the plastic feels durable. I was considering buying a plastic bowl or using a cake lid and trying to adapt them as feeder covers but this is designed for the purpose. I do wish it was priced a bit more accessibly but it works well, especially for ice and snow.

Fits tube feeders and works really well. I have bought other ones but this one does not need the feeder to be attached to another ring. These fit right over and use the one on the feeder so it is more secure and easier to hang.

Got this product for our squirrel proof birdfeeder to help keep the birdseed and feeder more dry in the rain. Although not made for our particular feeder we were able to adapt it to fit by using some small bubble wrap to fill the spaces on either side and some wire to help keep in place. Would have preferred a rain top made for our particular feeder but could not find one so this one will serve the purpose of helping to keep the birdseed drier and also the little birds that visit our birdfeeder. Wanted it mostly to help keep the seed dry though because it can get moldy if it gets wet. In a heavy downpour of rain we still hang the feeder underneath of the eaves of our house though, because this rain-guard works best in light rain because it does not give a broad enough cover for heavy driving rains that sometimes hit the feeder sideways.

This is a very nice protectors for the Medium and small sized tube feeders. I wish they made one for large tube feeders.

I got these just in time for Hurricane Sally. I have 2 feeders that always have all the seed completely ruined with a heavy downpour. One is a Droll Yankees suet pellet feeder and the other is a Perky Pet nyjer feeder (upgraded from a mesh bag that never stayed dry). These arrived perfect and undamaged, each with a tiny peel off sticker. The opening in the top is designed to fit feeders with a thin wire hanger. This cover fit down over the Droll feeder and locked onto the lid perfectly. It was made for this one. The Perky feeder has a thicker plastic hanger and this cover didn't slide over or down. I took a Dremel and widened the opening. Once I made this adjustment, it fit onto the Perky feeder, but this cover did not lock onto the top of it. I also added a picture of my homemade rain baffle. That beauty is a Dollar Tree plastic party bowl. I customized that by drilling a hole and using wire snips to shape a tiny square opening for my huge Squirrel Buster. That feeder has a weird kind of detachable piece with a wire loop. This Aspects cover would not have worked on that feeder and even the cover I made isn't necessary because that feeder never gets waterlogged after a rain. Have had these clear covers up all day and the birds haven't even noticed. They were all over the feeders today. Will be interesting to see how they act in the rain with new shelters over their food. Update: These covers are excellent!! Lost no nyjer seed to the storm. Suet pellets stayed mostly dry too. No more running out before a bad storm to take feeders down!

I bought this cover for my Aspects 420 Antique Brass Big Tube Feeder, Large. However the opening at the top is too small to fit this model. I had to widen the opening with a serrated tool so that it fit. Once it is on it protects against the rain but squirrels find a way to get to the feeder anyway if hung from a tree branch. But hey, they have the right to eat as well. 😎

Purchased in 2016 and still going strong. It’s been outside in Connecticut 24/7/365 (take in for the occasional 60-70 mph wind). Starting to get brittle. Acrylics has become cloudy. Contemplating getting another one but this old one still doing its job. Cost $15 back then.

I'm replacing one of these weather domes that I've had for more than 10 years. The holder of the feeders broke in high winds the other day. I like this version better than the ones with hooks. This one sits lower /closer to the feeder. Closer to the feeder means less rain/snow on the feeder. In the case of the specific feeder I'm using it on, it also appears to deter the starlings. All my Aspects items I own are great. All are at least 10 years or more. Shipped very quickly.

Aspects will always replace parts that break. I’ve used their feeders for years and they are so reliable.

Il n'y a pas de mangeoire c'est seulement le dôme protecteur qu'il y a et je l'ai retourné car en quincaillerie ça coûte beaucoup moins cher. Tout c'est bien déroulé avec le vendeur par contre, c'est pour cela que j'ai mis 3 étoiles quand même.

Love that this slides over the bird feeder handle, therefore not making the feeder any lower to the ground. I had no problem removing a small sticker attached to the dome like others have mentioned.

It works well to keep the feeder dry on top. Wish I would of gotten a bigger one
