Matis Exclusive Greek Kasseri Cheese (Saganaki Cheese)

My Kaseeri cheese arrived 5 days early, cold & absolutely delicious. We had Saganaki with dinner tonight. Many thanks.

Excellent tasting

We ordered it many times. It’s expensive, but like an expensive divorce, it’s worth every nickel.Our last order was not kasseri cheese like we ever ate had since 1979. We lived in Greece 10 years & know what kasseri cheese is supposed to taste like.This order though arrived warm. We brought that to the attention of the seller & was told it was okay.Well, it’s not okay. Until the seller figures out what is wrong, I suggest you look elsewhere.The cheese melts like it should, but the taste is horrible.

I use this as an all-purpose cheese - for Swiss or Italian or Mexican or Greek or whatever dish wants it. I think the flavor is sort of a centroid of all those. Grates nicely, too. It's a staple!Sometimes I mix it with mozzarella because it's quite oily.

Arrives cooling wrapped, stores in the refrigerator for months, makes delicious tyropites!

Good taste and packaged very well

I absolutely love this cheese. Fresh grated on just buttered noodles is heaven!!! This is what I grew up on!

We are from the Detroit Area which is famous for their outstanding Greek food. Where we live now is a Greek food Desert. I bought this and Made SAGANAKI for my wife. It was outstanding, just like Greek town in Detroit. A little expensive but worth it!
