Nice simple illustrations. Good variety of flora to try. Practice makes perfect

The book is stunning but the step by step guide to drawing isn't great, its jumps from one to the other without an explanation.

Really good, easy to draw flowers, step by step.

I think this is one of the best step by step books I've seen. It is so easy to follow with simple instructions next to each step. Each of the 75 flowers includes a colour pallette for each drawing. Anyone can draw beautiful flowers from this brilliant Mary Woodin Search Press publication. Highly recommend.

Not as advertised

I love this book. Having looked for a while for an art book on drawing that was neither too scholarly nor too simple and this fits the bill perfectly. I was browsing in a local bookshop for any art book that sparked my interest. Whilst I wasn't necessary looking for something on florals I just had to have this. It's easy to follow and well laid out. I like that it has colour swatches for each project, so no matter which media you colour with you can match the colours. It's a much better idea than stating the colours in the text since there is variation between brands and media. Well worth the money.
