Galkyd G Gel 150 Ml

You can stretch any pigment to near complete dilution with this stuff, and it will still have the body to retain brushstroke marks if that's desired, or smooth them out to be undetectable. I know they aren't attempting to be the same product or anything... but with a little spirits added as well, this stuff has me buying absolutely ZERO Liquin from here on out. Liquin dulls somewhat. This stuff does not. Other than being a bit glossy for my taste, this is a perfect product.

I have found Galkyd to be a great painting medium. It creates a nice consistency and dries quickly. I generally paint with oils and do a lot of glazing. Sometimes I mix the gel with the Galkyd liquid to thin it a bit. Either way, it works great.

A must have if you paint in oils! Love it. Came quickly

I became allergic to turpentine a few years back. As an artist my bravado became seriously limited. This is the best thing I have found for getting a little "tack" early on in my underpainting in order to add more layers. Wish I could say I love it but it is the absolute best and closest so far. As an update and addendum, yes it is marvelous mixed with cold wax as well! But another great trick is when you begin to lay out your paints, (I always start with white in my upper left corner), I will mix my white 50/50 with this gel using my palette knife. Doing so will have your white drying as fast as everything else.

This is an important additive to your cold wax and oil paint if you want the drying process to be quicker. It works very well and a dab goes a long ways. Mind you it still gives you plenty of time to make changes and revisions to your painting. I recommend it for those of you who want to save a little bit of time waiting between layers.

This makes paintings shiny and fun to spread thick oil paint. Liberating.

I ordered this product and waited but it did not arrive. The seller said he would resend it and then did not respond. The product is good but you may have problems with the seller. I will definitely not order anything from this seller. He made me very miserable.

Ma première impression est excellente. C'est un très bon produit pour la peinture à l'huile. Je le mélange dans une proportion de 30 à 40 pour cent à ma peinture. Il permet des coups de pinceaux précis notamment pour les détails. Aucune bavure désagréable. Pour les glacis, j'imagine qu'il conviendra d'apporter à ce mélange du liquin pour glacis... A ce sujet, je reviendrai sans doute ultérieurement pour vous donner mes impressions.

I use gamblin gel a lot, unfortunately this one came in an open box, which was creased, and a tube which was bent in the middle, it had been sent inside a jiffy type bag, so definately badly packaged.
