Love this company and their kayaks. I opted for this model and length for it's throw and go capability. One reason I bought this was the advertisement and video reviews stating you could stand and fish. I have tried this and definitely didn't feel comfortable standing let alone fishing that way. Maybe some will or won't have the same shaking legs I did, just a data point. For context, i'm 30 & 5'9 so not the oldest or largest person on Earth. I would say it's pretty stable overall. I do think as a relatively strong person the kayak feels heavier than the 57lb advertised... I didn't have any issues carrying to and from water but over distances and terrain it could be a challenge. The overall quality, fit and finish are fantastic. I would suggest buying tax free through Vibe website, you have to pay shipping regardless. On Amazon the shipping is built into price (79$). The only difference is you will pay tax on Amazon and since the shipping is included in price you will pay taxes on that as well. Just check if for some reason the Amazon deal is much better then go with it just be cautious of total price. Shipping was great and fairly quick!
